Nos gîtes et cottages à The Boldons

« The barn is situated on a family farm with the owner, Wendy, living in a neighbouring property. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by Wendy, a lovely welcome pack with cake, biscuits and fudge and even treats for our dog. Nothing is too much trouble and the cottage is equipped with all you could need and more. Although there were only two of us when we travelled, it is very spacious and would be ideal for a larger family with ample parking right outside and a lovely courtyard garden area. »

« L'accueil dans cet hôtel qui fait aussi pub et restaurant est très chaleureux. Les chambres sont assez spacieuse et la literie confortable, même si cela semble un peu vieillot...(c'est peu être à la mode en Angleterre..?) Toutefois, pour ce tarif on y est bien mieux que dans une chaine d'hôtel style F1... Bref pour un séjour sans se ruiner sur Durham et sa région, je recommande vivement cet hôtel ! »

« This was, by far the worst place we have ever rented and we have rented a lot of places. It was filthy. There were mouse droppings in the kitchen cupboards and in the one small pot and one small pan we were to used for cooking (believe me there was no cooking done in them!) there was a dirty pizza encrusted pan in the oven. Dust and cobwebs hung everywhere. The yard was totally unkempt and nothing like the photos. Sad too, because underneath the neglect, were the bones of a beautiful garden....

« Really lovely cottage with all the touches of home, comfy bed and great shower, I didnt like and no fault of the property the couch was covered in sand and the floor did need to be cleaned apart from that everything was really clean and lovely, thank you »

« Beautiful house, lots of extras like air fryer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and even spare dog towel. Could just do with blind in ensuite. Location was brilliant two minute walk from prom/beach. T.v signal was bit hit and miss but we were out most of time in sunshine. »
