Un hotel en régimen de cuartel

Lo primero que nos desagradó: el check in TIENE que ser de 16 a 18 horas (justo para destrozar una tarde de turismo); el desayuno, a las 8,30, sin margen de tiempo; el check Outlook, a las 11. La propietaria y la encargada, poco flexibles respecto a horario y, aunque educadas, poco agradables. La habitación, oscura; sin caja de seguridad, ni frigorífico, ni secador de pelo y con muy poco espacio para dejar las cosas.

Perfect location. Breakfasts were spectacular.

The Posada was located within walking distance of galleries and restaurants and close to roads to take you to points of interest

planning our return

We just love this place. Sharon and Karen are the perfect hostesses, breakfasts are delicious and the afternoon snacks/tea/cold drinks were a pleasant surprise. The grounds are beautiful and the B&B is just a short walk to the main Taos plaza.

Beautiful......but

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Check-in is 4pm-6pm. Arrived at 4pm. No one there. Note on the door to call . My husband called.No answer. I called. No answer. Finally checked in at 4:30. No excuse or apology. Breakfast was suppose to be at 7:30. It was a nice breakfast but again served very late . Next time we have a trip with scheduled things we would probably just do a Hotel. This B&B could easily rate 5 stars with just the right managers.

The location was great. We were close to downtown and able to walk into town for shopping and dining. Breakfast was great and offered gluten free options which I did not expect. All the breakfast items served were delicious. The staff was friendly and the rooms were cozy and clean. I would recommend this B&B to family and friends.

Horrible customer service

Host/innkeeper was not only unhelpful, but never replied to phone calls or emails. Will be visiting Taos often, but definitely never staying here.

Charming inn

Charming inn in a good location in Taos. Warm hosts. Good breakfast. Nice little touches to make you feel at home like bottled waters and soft drinks in the fridge for guests to enjoy. Beautiful art and artifacts throughout in keeping with Taos as an artists' town. Breakfast around one large table us conducive to meeting it her guests. My husband and I enjoyed that.

Great B&B

Wonderful experience. New keepers had just started the day we arrived and were incredibly welcoming. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Drank tea at night while reading by the fireplace in main area. Very short walk to town and shops. Overall very relaxing stay. Highly recommend.

Mi Casa es au Casa

A genuinely warm and friendly welcome. They really do make you feel at home with little details. A comfortable sitting room, coffee, cookies, soda available at all times. A highlight for us was the communal breakfast table where we met a variety of interesting people.

Wonderful, quiet, convenient, and friendly

We stayed for four nights at this charming B&B. Brad and Michael were wonderful to us in every way, providing information about the community and events and meeting our every need. Michael is an ultimate chef and made each breakfast a gourmet delight. I would definitely recommend this B&B in beautiful downtown Taos.

Simply The Best

Outstanding stay, highly recommended, wonderful hosts. Breakfasts are a treat - great food shared with michael and Brad around a communal table. The very best way to start one's day.

Enjoyable B&B

Warm, friendly atmosphere. The proprietors were very knowledgable of the area. They let us use their clothes washer and dryer without charge.

A Relaxing Getaway

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Posada De Taos. It was peaceful, but still within walking distance to the plaza and the Taos Center for the Arts. The staff were very kind and genuinely cared. The chef made amazing breakfasts that were healthful and delicious. He was very accommodating to dietary restrictions and he made one of the best gluten-free raspberry muffins that I have ever tasted! This was the perfect getaway and I intend to stay here again in the near future!

Exceeded expectations: amazing breakfasts

charming historic adobe inn with awesome hosts

This is an historic adobe inn. It's very charming. The hosts were very nice. We enjoyed the breakfasts, which were delicious and beautifully presented, and the company. Brad had detailed information on restaurants and activities which we appreciated. We stayed in La Casa. It has a private patio area, sitting area, neat giant tiled tub, fabulous sheets and an indoor kiva which we lit a fire in each night. The inn is a short walk from downtown and some museums, which is great.

Very adequate.

Very good location within 3 short blocks of the Plaza. Hosted very well. Wonderful breakfast. Small room with a comfortable bed but no desk or anyplace to hook up a laptop or iPad. Nice shower.

Nice facility and superior hosts. Breakfast was excellent and timely. Probably one of Taos' better kept secrets. Would recommend to others without qualm and would stay again when whim or opportunity so allows.

La Posada de Taos

Due to work I was forced to make reservations for three nights in Taos the night before I flew there from Pennsylvania. Needless to say, I was not particularly expecting much from last minute reservations, but I was quite pleased with La Posada. While it is practically in the middle of town, it feels quite secluded and is remarkably peaceful. Due to work, I was unable to sample breakfast and really did not interact with any of the staff, except for the owner. My rooms were clean. Additionally, I found the owner to be very friendly and helpful.... particularly when I discovered after returning from field work to find that I had only made two nights and not three nights of reservation. The owner was very understanding and accommodating and fixed everything right up for me. Should I be in Taos again, I fully intend to stay at La Posada again.
