back to my childhood beach visits

The Tahitian reminded me so much of hotel days of my childhood. Yes, it has some age on it, but at 65 myself I appreciate old things! It is very well maintained, lots of flowers, tables and chairs by pool and on the decking, swing set for the little ones. Our king room was very comfy, with full kitchen, table and chairs, recliner, cabinet for storage of food items. Drawbacks if one has poor knees would be the stairs, no elevator, but we really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and watching the sky and water. Pool was too cold for me, but ocean was refreshing. No hot tub. A bit of a hike to the water's edge, but it is so worth it, beautiful clear water, and the sand is well maintained by the city (raking of seaweed/debris weekly). We actually extended our stay one night, staying all week, and didn't want to leave then.
