Nice hotel, close to everything.

Les + : Location
Les - : Find a way to get rid of the musty smells.
Situation : Outdoor restaurants/bars. Beach in the backyard!!
Able to fit me in a day earlier without having to move. Staff super nice. Hotel was located in the middle of everywhere we needed to be. Was not able to give us first floor. I have sciatica pain so the stairs were a pain with no elevator. Parking was a royal pain with several times having to park across the street.

Decent hotel on the beach

Les + : Location
Les - : It could use a little face lift as far as remodeling/re-decorating.
Situation : Everything you would want to do is within walking distance.
I was pleased with my stay at the Tahitian. The hotel is older and is nothing fancy by any means however it is clean. The pool is nice. It is right on the beach. It was quiet for the most part. The staff was more then helpful. For the price you pay it is a nice place to stay. We will come back.

The Dive

Publié le 23 avr. 2016
Les + : The pool was nice!
Les - : Total renovation!
Situation : Johns Pass, but a hike to get there if walking!
This was my first time to Treasure Island so I didn't know what to expect! The motel is very old & run down. The rooms are very musty! I found a wall behind the bathroom door that had a lot of black mold on it. The shower was not good, and dead bugs on the ledge above the shower window! The carpet stinks! Needs to be replaced, if not replaced then at least cleaned & edged! The furniture is very old & not very clean! This motel is a dive & nothing like it's sister hotel The Thunderbird! Tahitian Resort should charge a lot less to stay here & I'm highly disappointed! Also, I was put in a corner room right by the busy street, and had cars parked inches from my room door, because they don't have enough parking spaces. Not fun trying to get out of my door, plus no outside sitting space like the other rooms have chairs & table to sit outside their door. Staff leaves at 10:00 pm, so a lot of noise from the guest staying here partying etc....Would not go back to this location because of how busy it was, and the walking distance to everything is pretty long! I went to Johns Pass, and that was the high light of the trip! I might think about staying at Madiera Beach if I ever went on a girls vacation though!

Very clean and neat for being so old. Bathrooms could use a remodel.

Old, dated. In need of repairs.

Publié le 13 avr. 2016
Dirty and disgusting. Our keys to room only worked if u spent time wiggling and jiggling for minutes on end. When we asked for new keys they said that's the way they work. They charged 150 on my credit card after check out. Said we broke a chair. The chair was already broken in arrival. They took the charges off, but then added over charges for an extra bed hat I already paid for. Many items in room were in dire need of repair. The so called sleeper sofa was a joke. My son spent the first night on the floor because it was so bad. Asked for a roll away bed because there was no way one could sleep on that sofa thing. They brought a rusted old roll away bed in and then charged us for it after we left. This place is a joke. Stay anywhere but here.

The door to our room was rotted and cracked and didn't fit the door frame, the deadbolt did not work. This was the cheapest room we could find that is why we booked it. We paid $160 per night, was worth about half that.

Hotel is close to the beach!

The staff were very nice. The hotel needs to be updated, but was very clean and the kitchenettes were stocked well! If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay that is close to the beach, this is your place.

Rooms are very old and rundown. Fridge has rust all over the door. The walls are damaged. Quite noisy room was beside kiddie pool. Lots of shouting and yelling. Not worth the money.
