House is close to great beach which we swam in every day - who knew you actually just float here! The location was perfect being away from main centre and had everything we needed. Our hosts spoiled us with fresh fruits and local fish - they even cooked our last meal for us which was amazing. I would never expect the level of care and help they gave to us to make our stay there so...

« We stayed for 10 days and what an awesome place to have found. Only 5 minutes from town and 10mins to the airport. We could sit and watch and listen to the breakwater all day. Would love to be there when the whales are in the area, that would be a magnificent sight. The only down fall is access down to the lagoon but 10 minutes along the road is great access to the lagoon and brilliant cafes and bars. The house had everything for a great stay. We highly recommended to everyone. »

« Te Mata Heights is beautifully presented inside and out, with modern furnishings and decor. The photos don't do it justice! A couple more bath towels, tea towels, crockery, and a small bbq would make this place 10/10 . But other than that, Te Mata Heights is the perfect piece of paradise with the most stunning ocean views. Highly recommend for the perfect couple get away. Meitaki maata Temata🌺 »

« Lovely owners who make you feel welcome and part of their family (tropical fruit platter, Sunday doughnuts …). Welcome us at our late night arrival at the airport. Gave us precious local information and even organize our trip to Aitutaki. Our boys loved playing with their very nice young teenager boy. Very rare and amazing people. »

« Wonderful peaceful house right across the road from a gorgeous private beach/lagoon. Fabulous snorkelling and swimming. Loved reading my book of the super comfy sun loungers in the lush tropical garden. House has everything you need with very well equipped kitchen. »

« The view was great. I didn’t use the bikes or kayaks but good to have them. Air conditioning was a saviour in humidity. I enjoyed working out the buses and using them. I also enjoyed walking into the shops and along the beach and it was easy to explore the area - cujtural show, night market, museum, gardens. Plenty to do despite the weather! Not a beach holiday this time. »

« If you're looking for a beautiful spacious house, 2 levels, that is perfectly located to one of the most beautiful swimming beaches on the island, close to the only 24/7 supermarket, public transport and tour activities, with the freedom of being able to cook your own meals and have a homely dining experience ( instead having to get the whole whanau ready by a certain time to catch the buffet or reservation), this is the place for you. « Our family (3 generations) enjoyed staying at Turou retreat. The house provided the space we needed and gave us the option to cook our own meals. The location is great. Everything is close by on Rarotonga. We loved going to ice cream and had some amazing meals at local restaurants. Thank you Linda and family for letting us stay in your house! »

« We loved our stay at LeoMae. It was a large, spacious and quiet 3 bedroom house to enjoy our down time in. With an open well equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area, plenty of space to cater for all our needs. The air con in the bedrooms were a blessing. The pool was a delight at the end of a hot day of sightseeing, however be aware of the bottom step the lip was very sharp. I would suggest hiring a car to make getting around easily and on your own time, however it is not essential as it is...
