You’ll be inside the gated Bahia Mar beachfront resort with access to amenities like two pools with hot tubs, a large beachfront sun deck, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, lush gardens and walking trails!

The Space:
Welcome to our seaside beach escape! You’ll have the perfect blend of style and comfort here with a private covered ground-floor patio and inviting living space with stylish furnishings and a warm ambiance. Plus, the exclusive Bahia Mar resort offers resort-style amenities for the whole family to enjoy.

As you enter, you’ll be greeted by a luminous open-plan layout. You’ll find a spacious kitchen with sparkly stainless steel appliances and everything you’d need to prepare meals at home. Plus, essential extras like a coffee maker, blender, toaster, and dishwasher! There’s a convenient breakfast bar with four cushioned bar stools for a quick snack, coffee, or to work on your laptop if needed.

When you want a more relaxing sit-down meal, there’s the dining area, where you’ll find a chic table that comfortably seats six. The living room area features comfy sofas and a large wall-mounted flatscreen Smart TV with cable. It's perfect for relaxing moments at home with your favorite shows or watching a movie together after a fun day of seaside adventure.

When it’s time to rest and retire for the night, there are two comfortable bedrooms, both with Smart TVs and cable! Bedroom 1 features a plush king-size bed, direct access to the covered patio via sliding glass doors, and a private ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has two queen beds, a little couch, and access to the patio also via sliding glass doors. The second full bathroom is just across the hall from Bedroom 2.

Additional highlights include WiFi for streaming TV services or working on your laptop, a washer and dryer and ironing equipment, linens, towels, beach towels, shampoo, hairdryers, and 2 car parking spaces onsite.

Get ready for a seaside experience to splash in the sea or the two large pristine pools onsite, each with a hot tub! Bahia Mar has so much to offer like a large beachfront deck where you can read a good book or simply gaze and relax to the sound of the waves, enjoy easy access to the beach, or the outdoor grill area for delicious barbecues.

You’ll have full, exclusive access to the home and shared access to the common areas and amenities at the complex.

The Neighborhood:
South Padre Island offers the perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. You're just steps away from the beach for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports, and local gems like Blackbeard's for seafood or shopping at Padre Island Plaza. Enjoy island activities like bird and sea turtle watching, beach four-wheeling, horseback riding, and exploring the Laguna Madre Nature Trail.

Getting Around:
The nearest international airport is Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport (BRO), which is about 27 miles away. You’ll have parking onsite at the complex. Walking around the island is fun, too!

Other Things to Note:
Please review this information before booking to ensure a pleasant stay. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

- Please note that the condo is on the ground floor, but the complex does not have an elevator.
- Travelers must be at least 21 years old to book, and someone 21 years of age or older must be present during the entire stay.
- Guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
- Guests will be required to provide a valid I.D. (with photo and signature) and to sign the registration form upon arrival and check-in.
- All guests will be provided wristbands that they must wear for the duration of the stay.
- Depending on the booking site to make the reservation, a security deposit might be required, refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
- No more guests than those listed on the reservation are allowed, and no guests who are not already listed on the reservation are permitted.
- The rental includes electricity (internet, air conditioning, etc.), use of the common area swimming pool, and two parking permits. An additional temporary parking permit may be purchased on-site for an additional fee. Boats and trailers are allowed on the property for an extra fee, but no RVs or motor homes will be allowed.
- BBQ grills are available in the designated “Palenque” area and are perfect for an outdoor meal with family or friends. The two-burner grill is $40, and the four-burner grill is $50.
- No smoking of any kind inside the home! Drug use and illegal activity on the premises are also strictly prohibited. Failure to comply results in a $300 fine. PLEASE DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE SMOKE ALARM. There is an $800 charge for tampering with it.
- No parties, events, or excessive noise after 10 pm. Please respect the neighbors.
- Cleaning service is available at an extra cost. Let us know in advance to book it.
- There are outdoor security cameras for safety and security.
- Guests are responsible for damages that occur or extra cleaning costs as a result of their stay.
- Pets are allowed with prior approval and a pet fee of $100 per pet per stay. Max two pets and no more than 75 lbs./pet. Pets are not allowed on furniture, beds, on top of fabric or on comforters.
- Our properties are family-oriented, and good behavior is expected from our guests. This includes respect for the Resort/HOA rules and the pool and common area rules and hours. Failure to comply with these policies is grounds for eviction from the property and a fine.

Interaction with Guests:
Once at the complex's entrance, give your name to Security. They will provide you with the keys, wristbands and parking passes. You’ll be required to wear your wristbands during the entire stay.

Nice clean condo close to beach

The condo was clean - cut exceptionally clean! However, the dishwasher and clothes dryer did not work. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would book again. Privacy and pet friendly. The grounds were lovely and pool and beach were steps away.

Great location on the property, close to all immunities. The condo has a nice lawn area off the patio. The new splash pad was fun for the little ones. Condo was clean and comfortable. The dehumidifier helped immensely.

Check-in process was very smooth. VRBO was very clean. Dishwasher did not work. Notified through my contact and was told to make sure the door was shut and try again. I did try a second time and it still didn't work and I was told to contact maintenance and given a number. When I contacted maintenance they said that they we're not sure they'd make it out that day as they were very busy but they would be out first thing in the morning. That was on day two and we never had anybody come look at our dishwasher. We were only supplied four to five large towels for the entire week, along with one roll of paper towels and two existing rolls of toilet paper with one replacement. We also only had one garbage bag in the receptacle and one extra for the entire week. When I reached out to our contact to see if there were more supplies, I was told that this was all that was provided but we could contact customer service. So we made another trip to the store got laundry soap and dryer sheets to come back to wash both our bath towels and beach towels only to find that the dryer did not dry towels. These amenities are nice to have in stock when you are traveling over a thousand plus miles you do not take up the space in your suitcase with extra towels and laundry supplies.

Overall the property was great. My only complaint was the was the washer and dryer. They were super loud and didn't work well if u put more than one thing in at a time.

The location was excellent. However, we encountered some issues with the property. One of the bedrooms had significant mold, requiring a visit from the cleaners. Despite the cleaning, a strong mold odor persisted throughout our stay. Additionally, the pools and hot tubs seemed to have heating problems, as they remained quite cold.

Great beach property

Great property close to the beach. I would definitely recommend staying here. The place was very clean and accessible to the beach. There was construction in the property but once it is done, this place will look even better. We plan to stay here again.
