  • Musica is a boutique home in a prime location in Sorrento with panoramic views on the Mediterranean Sea. The living space, dining area and kitchen are decorated with antique furniture to create a distinctive and elegant atmosphere. The two bedrooms, one of which features an en-suite bathroom, combine classic elegance in every detail and attention to individual comfort. The interiors open out onto two furnished balconies with panoramic views on the Gulf of Naples and the Vesuvius.

    Should you intend to use one of our villas or apartments for any type of commercial use, such as photo shooting or filming, please inform Feeling Italy of this at the time of booking. Such use will be allowed with Feeling Italy's written consent. Events, weddings, wedding receptions, or large gatherings on Feeling Italy's properties without written permission are not allowed unless specified in the description. Services provided by external suppliers, such as private chefs, and catering, among others, are not permitted in Feeling Italy properties. In such cases, you will be asked to pay an extra fee for your event or service.
    Any wood ovens available on Feeling Italy's properties can solely be used by the professional pizza chefs provided by Feeling Italy. Please contact Feeling Italy to enquire about the cost and availability of this service on the property of your choice.

    ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

    Standard check-in time is between 3 pm and 10 pm. 
    In case of flight delays or any unforeseeable inconvenience while traveling, please contact our office or the property contact. Late arrivals are managed for an extra fee. 
    Check-out time is 10 am. 
    Early check-in and late arrivals are subject to availability and subject to an extra fee.

This was the perfect place to stay at

The chicken process was super easy and the host was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and gave myself awesome recommendations for food. This place has an old Waltham toy with a great view from the terrace super clean and right on the main street.

Apartment was very conveniently located in Sorrento. 5th floor and elevator is very small/slow. Balcony views were fantastic. Space worked well for a family of 5 with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Apartment itself could use some updating as some of the furniture, etc. was a bit dated. Host was pleasant and met us at the property at check-in. Parking was a block away in a public garage

Great location with an easy walk to all the restaurants and shopping, as well as a very short walk to the train station. There is a grocery store less than one block away. There is an elevator for you and your luggage. Wifi easy to access and worked without a problem, and that was appreciated by those without an international data plan. The outside entrance is safe and secure and a dedicated entrance to the building, which was not apparent in the pictures before we visited. Great communication by text with property management. The hot water heater went out at 8 PM at night and they had somebody there and it was fixed within half an hour. The apartment had plenty of space for the 5 people we had. Overall, this apartment worked very well for us. Almost didn't stay here because of some reviewer comments about the mattresses being uncomfortable. While not plush at all, we didn't have any complaints about the mattresses being uncomfortable. Highly recommend this property.

Great location, needs new furniture

There were four of us that stayed for the week. We booked this primarily for the outdoor space and the location downtown. The location did not disappoint, almost everything was right out the door. Unfortunately, the outside furniture had to be replaced while we were there as they were not safe. So the outside area which was a focus for us ended up having plastic straight chairs to sit on. The kitchen needed additional items for preparation of snacks. Nicola was very responsive and got us safe chairs for outside, and several items for the kitchen. He also got a repairman. Repairs to the window blinds had to be done while I was there and could not be fixed properly so one window had sun coming in every morning, which is not great on a holiday. The three bedrooms were adequate space and enough pillows. The beds were hard. The air conditioners were wonderful. The view at the end of the balcony was spectacular. The typical view was looking into other apartments. The second bathroom is located in the kitchen. The washer was a great plus for a week vacation and the line was very effective to dry clothes.

Magnificent vacation in Sorrento

Our vacation to Sorrento was magnificent! We booked our stay through the VBRO website. We rented a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment “La Musica” which was situated in the town of Sorrento near Piazza Tasso. The apartment was kept very clean. It has balconies overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Naples and Mt Vesuvius. I worked directly with the property manager, Carmela Maresca, who was extremely professional and accommodating. Carmela was available to not only arrange the accommodations but to also arrange the transfer to and from Naples airport and the excursions.. Colomba De Gennaro greeted us and checked us in upon our arrival. She was also extremely professional and accommodating. She made sure to provide us with her contact information in the event of any questions or problems. Because we had two 15 year olds with us we chose to stay in town where there was something happening all of the time....shopping, street festivals, the Grand Marina. Also, train, busses and taxi service was easily accessible since we did not rent a car on this trip. I HIGHLY recommend the private boat tour to Capri. We were transferred from our apartment to meet our captain at the marina where we boarded a beautiful 28 foot wooden boat. The captain showed us all of the beauty along the Almafi coast and around the Island of Capri. Our tour was pretty much at our discretion. The captain brought us to a restaurant in Capri where we had a wonderful lunch. We could have toured the island at that time, but we and the boys decided to spend more time on the water. We explored the many Grottoes and went swimming in the Sea. The captain lavished us with a light snack, Prosecco and Lemoncello. Great Fun! This was an 8 hour excursion. Can’t wait to return!

Short Stay - June 2022

We stayed for two nights in June 2022. The property was exactly as described and matched the pictures. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the major square, shops, and the port. There are a lot of little shops right outside the building. Air conditioning worked really well. The company met us to provide keys upon arrival, and we were just able to leave the keys to checkout. Overall, a great place to stay for our family of 5.

Great location

We spent 5 nights here as our base to explore the surrounding area. The apartment was comfortable and convenient to the train and ferry. The 2nd bathroom is very small and the towels could be a bit better. We took the train to Naples and Herculaneum and the boat to Capri. We had dinners in good restaurants in Sorrento. overall we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and beautiful view but was not impressed with the overall apartment. Kitchen utensils were minimal. Furnishings were a bit outdated. Needs paint and a functional shower. Close to train station, restaurants and shopping.

This is a great apartment in a mediocre town. Sorrento is like Daytona Beach with the same spring break feeling. The apartment is very nicely appointed. It has a great view of Vesuvius. The airconditioning works very well. The washer and washing machine work well. It has a great mechanical blinds system to block the sunlight and keep the apartment cool. But there are several minor issues. Most VRBO/AirBNB rentals at this price have a guide book to the apartment, how things work, local grocers, conveniences etc. Not here. The master shower is poorly constructed with water flooding the bathroom multiple times. The master sink is poorly constructed and water splatters out of it consistently. There is no dresser in the master bedroom. The guest bathroom shower is not easy to use. The art work on the walls is has no modernity. I was disappointed with the upselling of people associated with the place. The renting agent upsold me on a ride from the airport for a low fee of 110 euros (She didn't tell me there was an air conditioned, express train from Naples city center to Sorrento that dropped you a block from the apartment that cost 8 euros a person). I had requested the contact info of the driver she was setting us up with several times. Only to get it at the last minute prior the day of our departure. When we got to the airport, it was a different driver. That driver relentlessly tried to upsell us on the trip for any service: a ride to Vesuvius for 110 euros (there is a 2 euro train that does the same thing), a boat ride to Capri for 800 euros, (20 euros on internet) etc. Some sort of interrogation of where we were from, professions to gauge how much we could spend. At Sorrento, the driver insisted on payment in cash (never happens in US). Then I was hit with another "tax" transaction by the rental agent and again more upselling. It is as if they think the internet doesn't exist. The building itself has construction going on in many of the apartments so getting an elevator the whole trip was difficult. Likewise, strange construction people walking around daily. The sides of the building are peeling plaster. Not well maintained. Again, the location is fantastic for this sort of town, but they could spend 200 euros at Italian Costco to make it better as well as fix the many flaws. Likewise they should replace the rental agents with someone more professional who really helps rather than upsells.

Sorrento - La Musica

My wife, teenage daughter, and son have stayed in three different VRBO apartments this week and last in Italy and La Musica was - by far - the nicest. Large, livable, and great air conditioning! The location is good, and Sorrento was truly charming. A microwave and coffee maker would be nice additions, but everything else was nice. The rooms look as advertised. I would stay there again. Oh yes, Colomba was very nice and very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location, 3 minute walk to train and 15 min walk to the ferries. Located near supermarket, gelato and coffee shops. Very clean. Elevator accessible. Spacious kitchen with dishwasher. Patios with beautiful views. Good water pressure and temperature in showers. Comfortably slept 8 people, and offered two sets of keys, which my group found helpful. The host was very helpful, she responded immediately to our texts whenever we had questions. Easy check in and check out. I highly recommend!

Lucia was delightful to deal with and had several helpful tips for the area and storing our luggage near the train station the day we checked out (1 euro/bag/hour or I think 5 euro/bag for all day). The apartment is in a great location. It's just a short walk into the center of town and down to the water. It's on the 5th floor, but there is an elevator to get your bags up. The place is spacious, yet cozy and beautifully decorated with great views off the balcony. I say the only slight downside is that the hot water didn't last very long in the shower, but I would still absolutely stay here again.

La Musica is a lovely accommodation just a short walk from the train station. This apartment has stunning views from balconies off the living room, kitchen and two bedrooms. A fantastic location in Sorrento town center, just steps from restaurants and shopping. This 3-bedroom/2-bath very comfortably accommodated our family, including two adult children. Lucia was a thoughtful hostess, warmly welcoming us, sharing local information, and responding quickly to our inquiries.

Beautiful apartment and perfect location!

The apartment was beautiful, spacious, cozy and the location is central. We were able to walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Lucia is very kind and very helpful in getting us settled. Thank you Lucia for arranging a personal location for my luggage (that was lost at the airport) to be dropped off while we were out of town exploring. We highly recommend La Musica and look forward to staying here again.
