It overlooks open countryside with fabulous views and is set in a quiet secluded garden. You also have the use of the large garden and orchard. It is perfect for those looking for bird song, star gazing and nature. Just a short walk off the River Otter with lovely riverside walks, the renowned Golden Lion Inn at Tipton St John is a gentle stroll, serving excellent food. Harpford is a peaceful little hamlet on the banks of the River Otter, in the middle of the glorious East Devon countryside. The seaside towns of Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton are an easy 10 to 15-minute drive away
The entrance door leads into the chalet. On the left-hand side there is a double bed room with an en suite walk in shower and WC. On the right-hand side is an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. French doors lead out onto a patio area with a table and chairs. Private parking for 2 cars.

DIRECTIONS: From the A3052 Exeter to Lyme Regis road, (from the Exeter direction), go through Newton Poppleford, over a bridge and just before you go up the hill turn left for Harpford, Four Elms Fruit Farm is on the corner. Go along the lane and you will see a square of thatched cottages on your right called Pump Cottage. Turn into her through the gate and park here. The chalet is located to the right of the driveway. Follow the hedge line and path to the chalet.
PARKING: You can drive in through the gate and park on the driveway.
THE KEY: The key is located to the left of the front door in the porch in a key safe. The code is: 1805. Rotate the numbers so they line up and pull down the catch to open the safe. Please replace on your departure.

LINEN: Bed linen towels are included. For holidays of two weeks or more fresh linen towels can be provided. Please let us know before the start of your holiday if this is required. We ask you to strip the beds you are using and leave the linen by the front door, the clean linen will be delivered for you on the change over day.
CLEANING: On departure, please ensure the property is left clean and tidy as found. In the unlikely event that we are notified by the owner or caretaker that a property has not been left in a satisfactory condition, please be aware that an extra charge will be made as set out in our Terms and Conditions. WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR REFUSE/RECYCLING: East Devon Council has now implemented a stringent recycling regime. There are instructions left for you inside the property on how to deal with your refuse. Please sort your recycling accordingly and put it in the bins at the side of The Pump House. If you have any queries please contact our offices during your stay. Unfortunately we will have to pass on any extra charges incurred by the council if their instructions are not adhered to. We very much hope all the visitors will help with keeping Devon Green.
BREAKAGES: Please report any breakages or repairs needed before the end of the holiday.
