Exactly as advertised and exactly what we wanted!
First of all, the service is a clear 5 stars bc Tony is there for anything you need- and that makes a huge difference when you’ve never been to Sayulita before.
He gave us recommendations, helped us with transportation, and was just a constant friendly face.
The hotel is nothing fancy but it’s clean and the shower was hot and the outdoor shower and pool were heavenly to come home to after long days at the beach. The rooftop is a great spot for watching sunrises and sunsets and you can even bbq up there.
It’s a steep walk on rough cobblestones to town and any of the beaches which we were aware of and didn’t mind at all. It meant the area was super quiet and peaceful. I’d say it’s about 12 minutes down to Sayulita Plaza but only a few minutes to Coyote Cafe which was my favorite breakfast spot (with great WiFi).
The WiFi was ok- worked better in the living room and not the bedroom.
We had a huge jug of filtered water that would get refilled if we ran out.
There’s a safe and mini fridge and freezer in the room.
AC and fans kept the room nice and cool when we slept.
I can’t imagine a better spot for the price- as long as you’re happy to do the walk!
