WeWelcome you to our mini mansion in the heart of San Antonio. Our home was originally configured to incorporate a main house and a mother-in-law suite. This unique configuration currently allows us to list the property in its entirety or as two separate listings. Our home is perfect for large familied staying in San Antonio or can be used as a corporate rental space. Our spacious home lets in plenty of Texas sunshine and is ideal for hanging out with family or just relaxing with a good book.

The space that you are considering is the smaller apartment or mother-in-law suite portion of the home. This space is approximately 500 square which includes two bedrooms each with a Full-Size XL Bed. There is also a living room with a super comfortable couch and 55-inch TV. The bathroom features a large standup shower. This space is best suited for one or two couples.

The apartment is accessible by following the driveway into the backyard, once there you will find French door with our smart lock keypad. Using the keypad will provide entry into the apartment.

Guests will have access to the entire house except for a closet or space which is used to store extra house inventory.

We can be reached at any time via phone, text, or through the booking platform. We want you to have a great stay so if there is anything we can do to help you accomplish that do not hesitate to ask. We will provide you with all our contact information prior to your arrival at our home. Thank you for allowing us to host your stay in San Antonio.

Whispering Oaks is a suburban neighborhood located in north-central San Antonio, Texas. It is an established community with a mix of single-family homes and townhouses, many of which were built in the 1970s and 1980s. The area is known for its tree-lined streets, well-maintained homes, and quiet, family-friendly atmosphere. The neighborhood is home to several parks and green spaces, including Orsinger Park, which offers playgrounds, sports fields, and picnic areas. Our home is located just a short drive from the popular shopping and dining destinations of The Shops at La Cantera and The Rim.

Being that we are in the suburban part of San Antonio a car is almost a must, but Uber, Lyft or a taxi are all viable options. San Antonio also has a public transportation system, VIA Metropolitan Transit, which provides bus and streetcar service throughout the city. We have a driveway that can hold 3 cars. Parking on the street is also encouraged.

NO UNAUTHORIZED GUEST ALLOWED. A $200 fee will be assessed for EACH unauthorized guest.

We charge an additional guest fee of $20 a person per night after 2 guests. This fee is calculated on the booking app and usually is shown as additional guest fee or host fee on the breakdown.

We do ask that you remove your shoes while inside our home. We won't judge if you choose to bring your bunny house slippers. Your secret is safe with us, and we appreciate you treating our home the same as you do your own.

In addition, we have our house rules posted throughout the home not as a nuisance but to serve as a reminder to our guests that this is our home and to please respect it. We thank you for your understanding.
We have implemented these few rules in order to protect our home and business. We ask that you read them carefully and keep in mind that you if have no intention of breaking any of them they actually won’t apply to you.

No Shoes in the house.

No Pets under any circumstances. Reservation will be canceled immediately.

No smoking or vaping inside the house! Smoking outside in the backyard or front porch is acceptable.

Zero tolerance for drugs or illegal activities of any kind. Reservation will be canceled immediately!

Quite hours are 10 PM – 8 AM. Please do not disturb our neighbors!

ABSOLUTLEY NO parties allowed! Reservation will be canceled immediately.

We do not offer late checkouts.

No additional guests can stay at property other than the amount listed on the reservation. Please make sure your guests count is accurate.

Cheap Furniture and Loud Unit

Overall, the place is somewhat mediocre. They have a $100 rule if anything is broken, yet when we arrived, the toilet seat was broken. So was some of the cheap furniture they provided. The beds were hard and the kitchen was poorly appointed (two spoons, both rusted). There was no baking sheet or foil to let us use the oven. No drying rack or other essentials, so if you cook, you're kind of out of luck. One washing machine was slimy. The laundry is shared with another bigger unit (you are in a refurbished garage). So you get to hear them all the time as they clatter around through the thin walls and doors. Ironically, even though you are in the garage, you can't use the driveway. They owners communicate two things: We will charge $100 for any mess and please give us five stars. I won't be staying again here or with this group host.

Great location to all sites

We stayed in this north part of San Antonio for the ease of a trip out to Fredericksburg for horseback riding/siteseeing, the Alamo/riverwalk downtown along with the Japanese garden then on to kids in Austin. Perfect spot, easy access to the highway and lots in the surrounding area for groceries and restaurants. Really big space, wish my bathroom at home was this big! and good communication with hosts. If only the neighbor didn't have dogs start barking at 7am it would be nice, but not a deal breaker. Walkability in the neighborhood was nice for exercise in the cool evening. We will definitely want to book again when coming to visits the kids.
