« Lovely 3 night stay. Rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We booked two rooms and were assigned one in the courtyard and one in the main building. « Room and bathroom clean and spacious. Bar and food good. Staff friendly. Buses outside to nearby villages. Train station 5 mins which was really useful for getting around and local shop, pub and cafe 5 mins. Social club 5 mins. Great band and friendly people. Car parking at rear. Beach 10 mins. »
« This was such a great stay. Really cute pub with amazing food and such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone we interacted with was keen to know if we were happy and seemed genuinely pleased when we said we were. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of little touches which made it extra special. We hope to come back soon! »

We put drinks on room during day time; then were charged for all of them on dinner receipt (therefore we were charged service charge on daytime bar drinks). Bizarre given we had added card to room for that exact purpose (I didn’t want to have a card allocated to room, but was told it wasn’t optional, then had bill presented at dinner anyway). « Would have rated it 5 stars overall, but one or two things were allowed to run out. For example, the Aspels cider, the decaf tea sachets, and the decaf coffee sachets. Better checking on such things on a regular basis would prevent these from running out, because they could be topped up before they run out.

« The room was clean. The bathroom a little inconvenient (especially the shower, which is hard to use without spraying everywhere). The staff are very pleasant. The breakfast is not great, especially if you choose the non full english breakfast options. »
