A happy two-week stay for two in Paris
My wife and I were very happy with our stay here. We were in Paris for 16 nights, planned to do lots of sight seeing and day trips, and wanted someplace where we could either dine out or make up our own meals. There are local bakeries, groceries, and places to eat and dine within a few minutes walk. There is a fridge, microwave, a 2-element electric stove-top, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. The area is well traveled day and night so we never worried about safety arriving back in the evening. There are bars on the street below that attract students from the neighborhood, but were generally quiet by 11pm and the heavy windows blocked out most of the noise anyway. The fold-out bed was comfortable for us (we're not heavy people, so I can't tell how it would be if I was). The room is on the 3rd story with a walk up these stairs, so save some energy for getting home. The shower provided plenty of hot water and so did the kitchen. There is no housekeeping provided to change the bed and towels, but we were left additional towels and linen at the beginning of our stay to change after the first week. Seth met us promptly at the arranged meeting time to get the keys and all went well for the stay. We'd be happy to stay here again - I very much like the lively neighborhood and it was an easy 10 minute walk up to Notre Dame and only 5 minutes to the Maubert - Mutualité metro station and easy access to all of Paris. Cheers!
