« An absolute gem. Handy for everything Alnwick and the surrounding areas. Try the chip shop in Seahouses-Lewis’s an incredible fish finger butty and chips 👍🏻👍🏻Bamburgh castle stunning and the beach. And this cottage a super place to base yourself. Comfy sofas and beds and excellent shower 👏No problem parking right outside the gate on the by road which no one really uses.We will definitely be back when our schedule allows. ❤️ »

« Lovely little cottage in the perfect location for exploring the coastline.Very good value for money. The hosts were lovely and we ate in the adjoining pub on the nights it was open. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.Very dog friendly, we will definitely return . »

« Fabulous cottage to ‘get away’ from hustle and bustle - so quiet. Within reach of various towns.Hosts are very welcoming and friendly.Definitely recommend this property »

« The cottage was lovely and we could really relax. We were able to take advantage of the dark clear skies and lovely walks. Would definitely visit again, the area is beautiful »

« A great living space- open plan and spacious, pet friendly floors and secure garden. Often in rental cottages there are a few items in the kitchen- salt and pepper, oil, washing up liquid, but here it is cleaned out, just to be warned. A new bed or mattress needed for the main bedroom, it was very uncomfortable and would deter me for a weeks stay. »

« We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then! »

« We have stayed in many cottages but this by far was probably the best. Beautiful decor throughout, gorgeous setting, a lovely welcome hamper and it was so warm with it's underfloor heating and the so easy to run wood burner topped it off. Excellent in every way. Perfect! »

« Beautiful little cottage with stunning views, host was friendly and easy to get in touch with. The space was family/dog friendly and clean with plenty of amenities. The only thing we were hoping for was a washing machine but we were able to do a couple of hand washes whilst we were there. Would recommend and would definitely return! »

« Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Shepherdskirk. The location is so quiet and peaceful but still close enough to places of interest. »
