« Travelled with 2 puppies was worried about how things would be. Didn’t need to be worried as dog friendly rooms available & staff very accommodating. Meals served all day & a good variety to choose from. Have booked for close family to stay later in the year. »

« It looked on the surface a lovely hotel. Sadly when up close, the rooms were not finished off properly, seals around doors, bathroom, floor, pieces of wood instead of door stops. Bulding rubble in the decked beer garden. The good bones are there but needs finished properly and cleaned regularly, a lot of dust. Need more staff. It could be lovely with a bit if TLC »

« Loved , loved this cottage. Spacious, warm and the copious amount of channels available on the TV for those wet afternoons was fabulous. Everything was thought of to make our stay so comfortable. No shortage of anything, so much so I’ve taken details of some of the fittings etc for our own home !. Lovely touch with dog biscuits and poo bags. Small things, but so welcome. No hesitation in recommending and hope to be back soon. »

« Great apartment right in the town centre. Spacious living space and everything you need for a home from home experience. As the flat is high up you get great views out towards the castle and the roof windows give great views of the stars on a clear night. »
