« Such a shame- could have been 5 star!! Internally the room was great, very comfortable and modern BUT from outside looked dreadful- dirty windows, dead window boxes and number missing from the door. Was very inconvenient, having to go out and buy tea & coffee ( I had asked before we travelled and was assured it was provided.) I draw the line at having to buy loo roll !! Attention to detail needed! »

« Clean and warm. Bed comfortable. Easy to access the accommodation. Room and bedding etc clean. Appreciated the decent size fridge. A good base to explore the area. NB we were glad to have taken advice from previous reviews and taken toiletries, as dispensers were empty, also took loo roll , own mugs and cutlery. A few minor repairs needed but it is end of holiday season and we had a good last minute price so we were happy with the accommodation. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse: quiet bucolic location, handsome and spotless, well-maintained house, We stayed in the Tweed room which was spacious and had everything we needed (including an excellent high pressure shower!). Peter and Sheila were great hosts and cooked breakfast to order each day and made sure we had everything we needed. Would happily return! »
