« Gorgeous little B&B run by the lovely Les. Everywhere was spotless and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfy, very pretty and had everything we could need for our 2 night stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Felt like by the end of our stay that Les had become a friend and a confidante 😉 Definitely planning a return trip… »

« This is a little gem of an inn. The drive along the way is picturesque and Otterburn itself is darling. Our host for the Old Post Office was very accommodating. We arrived after the normal check-in time and she was very welcoming. Our room was immaculate and our shower had lots of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, including our coffees (flat white and vanilla latte). We also enjoyed the back patio area with plenty of seating. Definitely recommend this inn! »

« Lovely stay, room immaculate, staff friendly and attentive on arrival (thank you Susan!) Bar/pub welcoming, nice friendly atmosphere. Could not fault food, was tasty, fresh and good portion sizes. « Lovely room however the large radiators were belting out high heat all the time and they could not be turned off in your room, the temperature was like a sauna. A fan was provided but hardly took the edge off the sweltering temperature. The windows could not be unlocked so no air in the room. Such a shame or it would have been perfect. »

« The room was spacious and well furnished. The fabric covered headboard made a real impact as you walked in. The bathroom was sparklingly clean. Real thought had gone into what makes guests feel at home and what utensils they would need to prepare food if necessary. The wine glasses were a nice touch! There was even a breakfast bar where you could sit and look out over the street. Plentiful supply of electric plugs (so useful when you have phones and iPads etc.) Check-in worked perfectly...

« We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchenette was really useful and there is a supermarket a few minutes walk away if you don’t want to go out for a meal. Access via code was really easy and there was plenty of parking close by. My messages were answered quickly and I was provided with all the information I needed in advance of our arrival. We will definitely be back next till we are in the area »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse: quiet bucolic location, handsome and spotless, well-maintained house, We stayed in the Tweed room which was spacious and had everything we needed (including an excellent high pressure shower!). Peter and Sheila were great hosts and cooked breakfast to order each day and made sure we had everything we needed. Would happily return! »
