Nice place to stay.

Les + : The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the restaurant and the girls who serve there. They were very helpful with area information and service.
Les - : Put safes in the rooms. We could not lock up anything and had to take things with us everyday on our adventures.
Situation : We visited Old Colonial Williamsburg & Busch Gardens on two different days. We also visited the Acquarium in Virginia Beach, which was wonderful.
We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, however, this was a "handicap" accessible room. The beds were too high for this type of person.

Public spaces were average. Pool slightly disappointing compared to pics and not the cleanest. Room decor is very "loud," lots of green, busy patterns. Not properly cleaned. Dust everywhere, handprints on surfaces etc... keurig was a nice touch but was dusty and smelled, and it wasn't plugged in. So let's move the smelly coffee maker and use it?! Not! Balcony door was so hard to open and close and the satellite required resetting after check in. The tv "reset" required two requests before anyone ever came up. Not the best place to stay for the money!

Close to beach

Was our first time to Va. Beach. Hotel was excellent! About in the middle of the boardwalk. Easy to get to everything! Room was very nice and clean! Definitely will stay here again!

Nice clean hotel on the beach.

Les + : Right on the beach and the rooms are nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.
Les - : Rooms need more blankets. There were just sheets on top of the bed. Also, we brought a DVD player but we couldn't use it, TV wouldn't allow it.
Situation : Cape Henry Light House and for dinner, Watermans Grill is wonderful!
This was our second time staying here and we had a nice time. The room was nice and clean. The front desk staff was friendly.

The only problem was that there were no hot water for a shower.

Pleasant Experience

Overall very good experience. Check-in was normally at 4pm but I was allowed to check in earlier. Parking was free and very easy. My only (minor) issue was that the hot water in the shower wasn't very hot. It was lukewarm during the entire which was a little annoying given that it was very cold outside. Nonetheless, i would stay there again.
