« This was the second time that I stayed at Hotel Galena. I was in town with my wife, we visited for Galena's Whiskey Weekend. We both really enjoyed the convenience and affordability of the hotel. It's quaint space gives a bed and breakfast feel, with the privacy of a small hotel. The rooms are clean and fresh, with a nod to Galena's rich history. « Loved the clean rooms. The soap, shampoo and conditioner were top notch. Hotel was in a great location for the icerink. »

« The room we were in had a musty smell. The AC/heat unit would not stay on. My husband installs this for a living, so it was not user error. The smell and stuffiness made it difficult to sleep. The breakfast was ok. The best part was the kind and helpful ladies at the desk. I do not know if all rooms are like this, but it was not what I expected for the the price we paid. »

« Nice hotel but priced for the city when in a small town. Desk clerk was quite not overly friendly. Room had a slight smell think meant be clean smelling but came off a bit fake cover up. Fine for a night due to points I had cost me $10, if had paid the excess of $100 they charge would not stayed here. »
