Don’t stay here in Nantes
We stayed here 7 days/6 nights. At check in, we asked to store our luggage after checking out our last day because our flight didn’t leave until 10pm. We were told we must contact the manager, Aurelie. Her contact info was in the apartment. We sent her 6 texts and emails. SHE NEVER RESPONDED TO US. The apartment has many negatives besides bad management. Toilet leaked from the base so water (?) covered the floor to the door. Shower didn’t drain well so you’re ankle deep in water during your shower. Dishes were dirty: wine glasses, silverware, cereal bowls, etc. Supplies were sparse: 3 lightbulbs were out and there were no replacements; 1 small garbage bag for 7 days; soap dispenser in bath room empty so no soap for sink or shower; only 2 washer tabs. Entry light was out. No fan or A/C so pretty warm. The street has several bars and restaurants very nearby. Every night like clockwork there were loud conversations and laughter just outside at 2:00am and 4am. Maybe customers or employees leaving the bars. At 6am every morning someone dragged a large container (garbage container?) bumping heavily down the interior cobblestone hallway. Base of bed was smaller than mattress so you couldn’t sit on edge of the bed without rolling off. Many problems are forgivable but when management fails to respond in a week, it is a sign of bigger problems.
