« We booked a small double for the week end which was perfect for us. It was beautifully furnished and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. The Staff were brilliant, we received a warm welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. We had the a la carte menu on the first night which was delicious and pizzas from the pizza kitchen on the second - also delicious. « Very pleasant people. Attentive. Room clean. Nice touch, bottled water. Clipper tea. Clean bathroom. Nice towels on heated towel rail. Plenty of parking. Continental breafast, all fresh ingredients, melon, grapes, orange, yoghurt, croissant well presented on a plate. Busy little pub, lots going on. Beer garden. »

Très bon acceuil. Seul regret nous avions 2 chambres avec douches (probablement handicapés) donc sans baignoires »

« Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom.
Bathrobes were a nice touch.
Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb.
Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous.
Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range.
Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked...

I had the best night's sleep I have had in years.Could not find fault in any way with the evening meal and the breakfast. The young lads and lasses who were waiting on the tables both inside and out, always had a smile on their face. »

« Owner was super friendly and recommended an amazing pub for dinner. Cooked us a lovely breakfast in the morning at our requested time. Rooms were huge with a nice bath and shower. Wish we could of stayed longer then a night. Thanks! »

« Working at the local hospital. I found the team to be very friendly and helpful on arrival. Lorraine actually let me check in early as the room was ready (11am) which was a big help after a long drive and could freshen up.
Bed was super comfy, shower had good water pressure and complimentary waters very welcome in 33 degree heat.
The key fob entry worked well too.
No complaints.
