« Old coaching inn with busy bar. No elevator and rooms up long winding stairs and no staff to help carry bags so avoid if infirm or with loads of heavy bags. Breakfast superb and it’s very much in the center of town so great location. Service willing if a bit strained. »

« We had a great welcome and were shown to our fabulous room. Spacious and well decorated, it had a great spread of tea and coffee with real milk in the fridge! Comfortable bed and new, good quality bedding. Plenty of drawers and hanging space. Sofa and desk for daily activities. Tha bathroom had the best walk in shower setting we have seen so far! « Nice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location. »
