I notified the hotel about our arrival to Marseille, renting a car, going to Gaya Hotel. When we arrived- no signs of a hotel at this address. Nobody answered multiple calls. It was no way for us to get into the property. We contacted Hotels.com and after three hours phone with them they were able to find another hotel for us for the whole duration of stay. Otherwise, we would have to sleep in the street or in the car. For all my years of travel I have never encountered such a behavior, totally careless of their customers. Since then, multiple attempts by Hotels.com and Expedia to contact the property re that event, to our knowledge, did not succeed. Not nice at all!
