« This hotel was totally unexpected. The personal touches that they add are enchanting! Each room is unique and the thought behind them is incredible. They offer a coffee bar during the day and a wine bar in the evening. We were even able to have a free movie outside with popcorn! This is an amazing place! The lobby is like a public living room and there are seating areas with firepits in multiple locations. It is totally walkable to downtown Highlands . . which is so charming! Stay here! »

« We stayed at the Azalea Garden Inn from Oct 26th to the 30th & our room A15 was absolutely filthy dirty. There was dust & dirt in the corners & the floors were extremely dirty. Our socks were black on the bottom from walking in the room. The room obviously needs a deep cleaning. »

« A nice quiet getaway. We witnessed a beautiful proposal at the gazebo. Our first choice of cabin had to be changed due to some cleanliness issue. It was taken care of quickly and we were able to get into another cabin. »

« What a great spot on the lake! We- and our two dogs- were in town while working on a construction project and this was the perfect spot for us. We all loved jumping in the lake at the end of our warm and dusty days- catching the sunset from the dock and the porch- and then waking up to the most glorious lake mornings. Clean,comfortable and convenient- and well-priced for the offering. Very easy communication with the owner. The dock must offer the absolute best view of the July 4th fireworks! »

« The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in.
