« The staff was very nice! The location is perfect for Lake Lure - it’s perfect for being by Lake Lure Beach. The parking is easy. It is an older historic hotel - tiny showers, thin walls, and it is looking a little weathered. »

« The sink was slow draining. The shower was too hot and when you tried to adjust it by turning it towards the cold, the water just trickled out and it was still too hot! The floor was so dirty my feet were black and had to be washed from walking across it. The staff was nice. The breakfast was fine: waffles, frozen Jimmy Dean egg sausage, cheese croissants, cereal, toast, bagels. »

Room and common areas were spotless, staff was amazing, they upgraded us to a better view in our room for our special occasion. « This cabin is meticulously maintained! The host was always available to answer any questions we had about our visit. If you visit this cabin do not pre-anticipate what you need to bring to make your visit comfortable as it is already there! All you need is food and a positive attitude!
