Getting Around:
Trams: You're close to several tram lines, with the Shrine of Rememberance tram stop located right outside the building, taking you directly into the city or to the seaside of St Kilda. Melbourne is known for its extensive tram network, which is one of the largest in the world. Trams are a popular and iconic mode of transportation in the CBD. They cover major routes throughout the city and are a convenient way to move around. (If you plan to use public transportation regularly, consider getting a Myki card. This is a reusable smart card that you can load with credit and use to tap on and off public transportation services, including trams, trains, and buses).
Train Stations: Flinders Street Station and Southern Cross Station are nearby, offering easy connections across the city and to regional destinations.
Buses: A number of bus routes pass through Southbank and the CBD for added flexibility.
Uber and taxis are readily available. If you plan to explore further afield (like the Great Ocean Road or Yarra Valley), car rental options are easily accessible in the city.
Bike & Scooter Hire: Electric scooters and bikes are available to hire via apps like Lime and Neuron — a fun and eco-friendly way to get around.
Whether you're here for business or leisure, getting around Melbourne from this location is simple and stress-free.
On Foot: Many of the city’s top attractions are within walking distance, including the CBD, Southbank Promenade, Crown Casino, Federation Square, and the National Gallery of Victoria. You’ll also find countless cafes, restaurants, and shops just a short stroll away.
