What a wonderful riad! It was our first time in Morocco let alone Marrakech and everything was warm and welcoming after first stepping inside. All the staff were attentive and helped us with suggestions, must see places and did so without seeming disingenuous one bit. Samir was the night person and always said this is your home, please be comfortable. The day person (sorry we forgot his name) was always smiling and a gracious host. We would not have been able to get into the YSL museum without his tips. And the chef (again forgot her name) was so kind. When we left they had arranged transport and she walked us to the car and even demanded on carrying one of our bags.
The place itself was the perfect oasis in the middle of a mass of people. Once inside the sounds and busyness faded into serene silence. A beautiful courtyard pool (to die for!), rooms with no need for black out drapes, wooden panels did even better. The bed was very firm but this is the way we like it. And a rooftop with sunbathing options. It was like we didn’t have to leave this little paradise (hence what a riad is for).
We highly recommend it!
