You’ll have the entire house and private patio to yourself for the duration of your stay.

The Neighborhood:

Getting Around:
There is no onsite parking, driveway, or garage. There is free street parking available with no permit needed. Street cleaning is every 1st & 3rd Friday, 12pm Noon-2pm
Note: Please be sure to keep all cars parked in designated street parking spots and oblige by neighborhood rules in order to avoid tickets, fines, and/or towing of vehicles.

Parties are strictly prohibited at this property. The property is located in a serene, historic neighborhood with strict noise ordinances in place. The management company will take action immediately against any violations.

We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.

**PLEASE NOTE:**
Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking.

FAMILY & PETS:
We are family and dog friendly! Children 2 years old and above must be included as part of the total guest count. Please send us your dog's breed and age when booking. We do require a $100 per pet fee and ask that you agree to our pet policy. We offer dog beds and dog bowls available for your convenience. Please keep pets off of all furniture including sofas and bedding, to minimize the risk of additional cleaning charges or unforeseen accidents or damages. Please be sure to pick up after your pet and dispose of waste in the proper garbage bins located near the driveway. Please see our House Rules for more information.

EXTRA GUESTS:
Guest count must not exceed the occupancy of the property. Keep in mind there is an added $50/night (plus booking fees & taxes) per guest for additional guests if approved. Any day guests must be approved prior to arrival. Day guests must leave by 10pm and are limited to a total of 4 guests. Children are considered as part of the total guest count.

VENDORS:
Please note that the home is serviced before and after every arrival and departure. During extended stays, our technicians service the exterior of the property on a regular basis to maintain our home and yard. They will not enter the home but need to access the backyard. Landscaping and gardening service is on Fridays or on an as-needed basis based on weather demands.

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS!
We are in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please follow our County’s Good Neighbor Policy of no outside noise after 10pm and before 8am. Guests must refrain from any outdoor music, noise, or other disruptions that may cause a disturbance to the community during quiet hours. Failure to respect quiet hours may result in the cancellation of your reservation without a refund.

RESPECT:
There are strict county ordinances regarding excessive noise and light pollution after 10pm. Please respect our neighbors, and refrain from loud noises and outdoor music by 10pm. The home is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Removing the decibel monitor will result in a full security deposit loss and/or additional charges. Sink into the sounds of the canyon solitude, peaceful nights, and starry stars...

CHERISH:
Some of the things visitors to Los Angeles cherish the most are the abundance of wildlife and fauna. Cigarette butts, trash and food left on the ground can hurt our precious ecosystem.

CLEANING:
Health & safety is our number one priority. Our in-house cleaning team is trained on CDC and WHO protocols. We take extra measures to ensure the home is sanitized and safe before every arrival. For this reason, we aren’t able to offer early check-ins or late check-outs. Thank you for understanding!

PHOTOSHOOTS & VIDEOS:
If you’re interested in doing a photoshoot or video shoot for commercial/business use, please share the details of your project ahead of time. You MUST get approval beforehand! If approved, we have an additional fee for licensing and usage. Photoshoots for your personal social media accounts are welcomed!

WILDLIFE:
While Los Angeles is a city, we do still have an array of wildlife amongst us. Please use caution when outside, especially at night with any pets and children. City critters don't find fencing to be a deterrent to them in our shared habitat. Maltman Manor is situated on Bellevue Park - an active, highly-utilized city park and recreation center. Joggers, dog walkers, and basketball players enjoy the facilities every weekday from early morning until the park's closing around 10pm. Weekend mornings are much quieter until things pick up in the afternoon for birthday parties and fiestas. There is also a preschool abutting the property. Young children may be heard in the play yard after 9:30am on weekdays, and their other recess times throughout the day. At night, the park is closed and locked by Park Rangers, and the only park inhabitants are typically coyotes and other wildlife on their nightly rounds.

FIRE ZONE:
Our home is located in a moderate Fire Hazard Severity Zone
(VHFHSZ), smoking is not permitted in any exterior of the property.

NO SMOKING:
No smoking or burning candles. This is a non-smoking home. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors at least 15 feet away from any exterior doors. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline.

BACKYARD FENCING:
Our property does not have a backyard, but there is an enclosed outdoor patio, please always keep an eye on your pets and children. City critters don't find fencing to be a deterrent to them in our shared habitat.

EV CHARGER:
There is not an EV charger at the home, however, there is a public FLO charger conveniently located a 3 minute drive away at 3140 W Sunset Blvd. There are also multiple public EV charging stations around town, which allows charging for up to 2 hours per day.

PARKING:

Great house and location

We loved this house. It’s quirky and charming, with very personal touches — a great place to hang out with friends. The decks on all levels are great and we appreciated having laundry machines. We found nice restaurants, coffee, and shops within walking distance. The neighborhood is very friendly. The property management company is a little clunky. I had to call them the day of our arrival and sit on hold to get check-in information. They did not provide linens for the fold out couch, leaving us scrambling late at night. They were responsive to all issues once contacted, but I think this is a newer rental property and the kinks are still being worked out. All that said, I would absolutely stay here again.

Review

House had charm but facilities needed attention. Downstairs bathroomFaucet hard to turn and not installed well. Shower so slow and feeble everyone used the upstairs shower even though both bedrooms were downstairs. Not convenient. Internet was initially not working. Overhead dining room fixture not intact and had 4 out of 5 missing bulbs. And overall lighting upstairs very dim. Also , in general I did not feel that I was communicating with either Conrad or Colby but some kind of management middle person who was not overly familiar with the property. And most instructions were obviously written to cover various different venues. That said, they did respond to concerns in a reasonable time. I just wonder why these things were not attended to before my arrival since the extensive list of do’s and dont’s said that a full inspection takes place between bookings.

Great Stay in Silverlake

Our little group of friends had a great stay at Colby and Conrad's wonderful property in Silverlake. The house is super comfortable and charming with great little patios to enjoy some fresh air. Would highly recommend!
