One night stay for work, just a place to sleep on fairly short notice.
The apartment seems fairly recently built/renewed - very modern aesthetic. It is quite sizeable - two double bedrooms and the bathroom has a large bath and certainly doesn't feel tight on space. Living area (open plan kitchen/diner/lounge) is similarly not cramped. This would be fine for a pair of couples or a family to use without getting under each others feet.
The issues start when you actually want to use it:
The mattresses are too cheap - you can feel every spring. The sheets aren't quite big enough to tuck under the mattress. The side lamps don't stay on - I don't think they have the right bulbs. One of the blinds was broken.
The shower controls are worn and the handles can come off. the boiler had been switched off - fortunately I spotted that in the evening. The mop and vacuum 'live' in the corner of the bathroom.
The wi-fi doesn't appear to work. The cupboard door over the washing machine was falling off.
This place could be really nice - it just needs a little more investment and a little more TLC. I didn't test out the cooker, fridge, washing machine, etc. But the supplied crockery and silverware seemed sporadic like these were leftovers from someones house.
It overlooks a school and a community centre that appears to do evening classes of quite shouty martial arts.
