Remodeled In-Town Lewes

Located right down the street from the Lewes Historical Society's Complex, this two story home has all of the comforts for your stay. Recently remodeled, the large and open living space feeds into the kitchen and dining area allowing for a gathering for dinner or hanging out working on a puzzle. The screened porch off of the dining area will be your favorite place to lounge with a cup of coffee in the morning. The first floor also has a full bathroom and a bedroom with a daybed and TV.

The second floor features an additional three bedrooms and one full bathroom. A large sundeck, off of the back bedroom, is a great spot to work on your tan.

An easy walk into town for some shopping, dining or ice cream from King's. This home is in the perfect location!

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement, and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Guest for the entire rental period. The Guest signing the Lodging Agreement must be at least 25 years of age and must occupy the Property for the entire rental period. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards (subject to a 2.75% Convenience Fee). We also accept E-Checks with no fees, as well as personal checks. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30-days of arrival required to be in certified funds or by credit card (subject to a 2.75% Convenience Fee).

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

Very clean and nice place in a wonderful neighborhood

This is a great property. We spent 9 nights here with our out-of-town family. There were 6 of us total. The neighbors we encountered were wonderful. Being within walking distance of shops and food was great. We love Lloyd's Market. For those with sensitive noses, this property gets 5 our of 5 stars from our family of sensitive noses. Very clean and everyone was comfortable. No strong fragrances in the house. The inside was spotless and very well cared for. Our only issue the entire week was that on arrival (in late April), the furniture and floor of the screened porch were covered with tree pollen. After a bit of clean-up, we were set, but it would have been better if the porch space was cleaned before our stay also.We observed surveyors in the lot next door (April, 2025). Not 100% sure they were preparing for construction. However, It might be worth checking to be sure there will not be active construction during your stay if you are looking for the peace and quiet we enjoyed during our stay.

Fantastic location, I did not read the reviews properly and there were no sheets and towels provided, without paying for this service. You had to make beds, strip, beds and empty dishwasher, clean grill, which was dirty when we arrived, I felt like it was a lot of money for the effort. No shampoo or wine glasses, limited utensils and cooking supplies. Lots of Kleenex, limited toliet paper. There were three rolls of TP for 4 bedrooms. Not OK

Perfect spot for a stay in Lewes

House was great and yes, the porch was everyone's favorite spot! The house provided everything we needed including some thoughtful touches. Wonderful to have found a pet friendly vacation rental. Great walk in a beautiful area to everything we love about Lewes. Our stay coincided with an unseasonably warm week that had us outdoors far more than expected. The management team was put to the test by needing to turn the water on (to the outdoor shower), then get it fixed (as pipes had burst over the winter). Communication was great and the maintenance folks were efficient and curteous. This house is managed by a real estate company so we had to stop at the office to obtain keys and such - less convenient than what I am used to with VRBO and remote entry. But not a problem once I found the office.

Charming spot in a great location

Just two short blocks from the main drag and an easy walk to the canal, this charming house was everything the listing promised. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, it was very clean upon check in, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location

Historic Lewes is such a great area and this house was in the perfect location. Screened in porch was fantastic and when it became too shady we were able to move up to the deck off the upstairs bedroom. The upper deck chairs are in desperate need of a good cleaning but it didn’t take away much from our enjoyment. The kitchen is fully stocked but would benefit from an organization and a full set of measuring cups. We were VERY disappointed that the owner neglected to fill the propane for the fireplace as it would have been lovely on the chilly evenings. Other than getting locked out of the house due to a (2 year) malfunctioning lock set, everything was great. A bright, comfortable, roomy house that was (almost) perfect for 2 senior couples and a small dog. Thanks 😊

Perfect for our summer vacation!

Really enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do and we were very comfortable during our stay. The screened in patio was a plus as we had some of our meals out there as well as my son was able to hang out back there and play with his toys. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone we encountered was very friendly.

Beach week in Lewes

Love this adorable house in the Historic District of Lewes. Very clean, comfortable and cheerful! Especially enjoyed the screened porch and rooftop deck. Ample room for a family of four and two dogs. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Driving to various beaches took minutes! Lewes is a beautiful town!

Wonderful, peaceful place

We feel so lucky to have found this wonderful house. It was perfect for our family, which includes two teenagers and a dog. We could really spread out as there were multiple common spaces, including a large screened-in porch, a roof deck, and the open concept kitchen/living room. It’s sometimes hard to find a nice place that also accepts dogs - this place was not only lovely but pristine! The kitchen was also very well equipped for people - like us - who like to cook. And the location was just right: on a quiet street away from the hustle bustle of beach life, but just a short walk to shops, restaurants, parks, and the Lewes farmer’s market. A longer stroll or bike ride took us to the Bay Beach and Cape Henlopen. We walked through town down to Two Dips Ice Cream several evenings for ice cream & sunset views. Felt like a home away from home. We would love to return!
