« The begin with the owners were not around during the check-in process (I believe they had a family emergency) but we did finally find someone to get us access. The cabin was full of cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere (this is expected somewhat since it's a cabin but this was more than just a few). Overall the cabin was in pretty good shape which was the biggest thing for us. The entire grounds were NOTHING like the photos (old photos) and needed to be mowed / weeded very badly. « Staff was amazing! So helpful, even got us into our room early. However when we walked into the building it smelled of weed and just had a stink to it. My bed pillow smelled of cigarette smoke and had ashes on the bed. We didn’t say anything just decided to go home and make the 3 hour drive. None of us wanted to get into the beds. Plus the carpet was gross feeling so we didn’t walk around without shoes on. »
