« When we arrived at the property, we rang the bell and eventually we were able to talk to a live person by phone from California! She asked us to use the code she had provided to allow entry into the property. Unfortunately she had not sent the code prior to our arrival. A guy in a pickup pulled up and told us that the property's host was not available because she was in another town about 25 miles away. « Nichole was so helpful. We were arriving after 7:30pm and she suggested the J Huston Tavern in Arrow Rock for dinner. She also made our check in after hours easy. This Hotel is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. We loved this historic hotel and the Railroad History. We slept in a comfortable post bed. It was more than a hotel it was also a museum for us. Recommend, recommend and recommend. »
