The comfortable bed, facilities, home cooked breakfast and he view. Shopping Centre close by also for a lovely coffee at the Bakery. Janie is very welcoming and her home is your home for the stay.

Trevallyn House is a beautiful spacious and luxury home situated In Riverside on a hill overlooking the Tamar. Janie is a wonderful host and our stay was a lovely part of our Tasmanian holiday. Janie cooks up a great breakfast with all the trimmings. The rooms are comfortable and special surprises such as Port and Chocolates and luxury inclusions made for a great stay.

Our family stayed in the small house next to the main house. It was quite runned down and quite misleading from the photos shown on the website (not staying in the main house).

A very lovely and peaceful house with beautiful views. The host decorates the house by heart. We had everything we needed in the room. Value for money. Highly recommend!

Janie is really friendly, breakfast was delicious, and the view was amazing! We even saw a kangaroo in the neighbors yard. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic guesthouse located in beautiful setting

Trevallyn Guesthouse was an absolutely amazing find. Perched up on a gentle hill overlooking the river, you couldn’t ask for a better view of the valley below. The guesthouse’s owner is an absolute delight and made our stay one to remember. We shall be back!

My family and I loved our experience at this B & B and the most important factor was the very friendly and hospitable host, Janie! She made us feel at home and cooked us some delicious breakfast. She offered tips on places to visit and things to do at Launceston. We stayed in a lovely cottage with a great view. It had a good space for my car and water pipes for a car wash too! The rooms were of adequate space and the beds very comfortable. The occasional visit of the wallabies around the estate was a welcome treat for the eyes of my kids! It was also ideally located as we we had wanted to visit the Penny Royal Adventures for our kids as well as the Cataract Gorge (both 4km away). Overall, a great experience and we would like to accord our personal gratitude to Janie for hosting us.

Home style b&b accommodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trevallyn House. A beautiful view, peaceful surroundings, tasty homemade breakfast with freshly squeezed fruit juice, a lovely hostess by the name of Janie and a large sized front room with spa bath all added up to a wonderful holiday. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and hardly could fault our amazing accommodation except maybe a more comfortable mattress. We still give the b&b house a 5 star rating which it deserves! If you want privacy and serenity then this is the place to stay. Also walking distance to some local shops including Woolworths, chemist and pizza takeaway. A bus stop is near the shops as well.

We had an excellent time at Trevallyn House. The entire place is well set out, beautifully decorated and the views are to die for. Breakfast was excellent, and the interaction with the host was wonderful. Well situated, easy to get to and easy to get to the city - we'll stay again.

Facility of the cottage

Very comfortable environment and able to see wild anminals in the back yard. Young kids will like it.
