Thank you for taking the time to review our house. We are ourselves hosts and are looking forward to welcoming guests in our accommodation. We apologize if you felt the house was "far from main attractions" but while it is true that many of Kyoto's popular attractions are dispersed throughout the city and will require some (lengthy) travel to reach wherever one decides to stay in the end, we are pleased to confirm that our house is conveniently located just a short distance from Kyoto Station, arguably the most convenient hub to travel inner city and in the Kansai region, and several other notable sights. These include the UNESO World Heritage-listed Toji Temple, which is just a 5-minute walk away, Honganji Temple, also listed with UNESCO, which is a 15-minute walk away, the Kyoto Aquarium and Train Museum, which are both just a 7-minute walk away, the old Shimabara Geisha district is also very close up north, for shopping Kyoto station offers a wide variety of options plus dining venues for all budgets...We hope this information helps to make future visits to Kyoto more enjoyable.
