« This was the most charming, well decorated and clean rental. It was just my husband and I but it would have fit a few more if necessary! Everything is brand new and it even had an outdoor shower/bathroom. The owners checked in with us and responded to our emails immediately! We will be definitely be staying here again! »

« 2nd stay here. We will be back. This is a nice comfy home with an open beachy feel. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. We had a small issue and our hosts quickly resolved.Hot tub and lookout are nice extras. »

« Upon arriving cottage was clean and bright. The entire visit was comfortable The cottage was lacking nothing. Many times renters will scrimp on mattresses, but this place was top-notch. We will look forward to returning. »

« Pros: -close to beach- the little path shown in pictures is not how you get to the beach. You walk through A clearing in the bushes and then you get to the paved access road. It’s about a five minute walk. - The beach was not crowded in that area at all. And lifeguards were close by because of the campground next-door. - fairly quiet and secluded. There is another cottage right next-door, but no one was there during our stay. There’s a mobile home community right next to the house, but overall...

« This was a last minute trip for us. At first, it was easy to book and the availability was nice since they did not require a one week stay and we were literally fitting this trip in between two events. The house was everything that we expected and need. Unfortunately we didn’t get beach time with Hurricane Debby but we still had much needed relaxation. »

« Great location. Comfy couches. Slept three of us very well. If you take a dog, remember that all the houses on OBX are on stilts and your dog should be comfortable with decking stairs. Be sure to practice outdoor stairs with your dog before booking anything on OBX. Great host and had a super time with my boys.Ed Stoll »

« We found the home clean, cheerful and comfortable. The kitchen was great and housed anything you could possible need. There was plenty of comfortable seating and a table for game playing. The house is very open so we could enjoy being all together at all times. There was plenty of beds for all, and the mattresses slept wonderfully. Communication with the host was exceptional. Our family would definitely recommend staying here to all. »

« Great spot with easy access to the beach right beside de building. Close to the Avon Pier and groceries Clean place Would have apreciated darker blindings for better sleep but other than that it was a very good stay »

« Loved this home. Beautifully updated, clean, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. I liked that the primary bedroom was downstairs and the kids were upstairs. Beach was a short walk, and the pool was great to have. Would definitely recommend the house, and plan to stay again next year. »

« We thought this home on Avon was the perfect spot for our family; just a short walk over the Dunes to the ocean and a not too busy beach. We walked to the Avon Fishing Pier, souvenir, coffee and ice cream shops and restaurants. The area and beach felt safe and it was very clean. There is a mix of rentals and homeowners in the immediate neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised that the cottage seemed larger and more open than the online photos.
