Water Front House on Canal 6541 Boatyard Drive Hudson, Florida Entire House - 2 bedrooms; 2 bathrooms
House located on canals access to the Gulf of Mexico Featuring a private dock and a waterfront location. The house is surrounded by restaurants with live music (5 minutes drive), and Hudson Beach is around the corner. Centrally located and offering comfortable accommodations, this waterfront home is the perfect choice for snowbirds heading south for the winter or beach-bound families any time of year.
Home has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a King size bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds. Living Room Sofa can be pulled out into a Queen size bed. The kitchen has everything you need including a microwave, Kcup coffee maker, toaster, mixer, blender, pots-n-pans, etc. The Gas Grill and Fire Pit are located outside the French door from the kitchen. House comes with Wifi Internet and smart TV. The yard is fenced in but open at the water.
There is an awesome floating dock for you to launch the kayaks or keep your boat.
The property is close to lots of shopping. The surrounding area offers golf, mini-golf, fishing, kayaking, boat rentals, scalloping, water skiing, antique shopping, casino cruising, and a lot more. There are numerous grocery stores within 5 miles. 20 miles to Clearwater, and 15 miles to Weeki Wachee, a state park with crystal clear spring water ideal for family fun, swimming kayaking, or one & only live Mermaid show.
Plenty to do around the area. Restaurants and bars abound. Locals are extremely nice and helpful.
A well-behaved dog may be permitted by the owner, provided the dog is crated when left alone. We also require that dogs not be allowed on all beds and furniture. This enables us to continue to offer a home for pets and their families. A non-refundable pet fee of $150 is required prior to arrival. Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog and an additional pet fee will be required to be paid. We will request the additional monies after the reservation is confirmed. IF ANY PET IS BROUGHT TO THE PREMISES WITHOUT RECEIVING PRIOR APPROVAL AND/OR THE $150 PER PET FEE BEING PAID, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $500 PET PENALTY FOR EACH UNAUTHORIZED PET!!!
The home is under Surveillance. Security Camera locates exterior of the property. As the property is open to the water, for the liability and safety of our home and our guest(s), any guest(s) that tamper or attempts to cover up the cameras will be charged up to $1,500 fine.

We certainly enjoyed our stay. Everything went smoothly. We had a special request and they were quite accommodating. Well stocked and clean. Really nice backyard, however we were on the move so much we really didn't get a chance to enjoy it. Would definitely stay here again.

Hi. My mom checked out last and here is info - thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Wanted to report in and let know status of things. The linens in dryer were there when arrived. Left them there. Dishes in dishwasher rack are clean. Hand washed, left to dry. Not sure when trash day is. Or, if can was supposed to go inside fence. It was at the street when arrived. Left inside the fence and it is full. The door knob on double doors was loose and slipping off. Tightened but it didn’t fix the sliding off. Accidentally broke the spoon rest. So sorry. It slipped moving on counter. Can be glued, didn’t have any. All nicely decorated and inviting. Not sure if you are paying a service to clean. Nothing that created a problem for us but you might want to know. The outside of fridge, dishwasher, some windows looked like cleaned with same rag and smeared with streaks from the rag/cleaner. Kind of takes from how nicely kept and nice kitchen. Maybe an isolated occurrence. Thank you again and for the fun activities!

Unkept and not as described
The check in process is easy but the listing says there is a washing machine and a dryer. The day before we arrived, the host contacted us and told us that the washing machine did not work. While we were there, I hand washed all of my children's clothes to throw in the dryer but then I realized that there was no washer or dryer anywhere on the premises. When we arrived there was no trash bags in the kitchen trash can so I reached out to the host and I asked where I can find trash bags. I was told that they only provide essentials. I feel like trash bags should be included in essentials. The water was beautiful. The kayaks, canoes, and fishing was fun but the dock area is very dangerous. The yard is not really maintained. There is a grill but it was so dirty with an excessive amount of old grease on it that it burnt all of our food. Every single one of us were hurt by the giant bolts that attach the dock to the cement. They are located in the entryway without anything covering them. The balls of our feet were bruised up by the time we left. We ended up leaving a day early. On a positive note, the neighbors are kind, and the area is beautiful. It's a great location where everything is super close.

House hunting
This is our second trip to Hudson. We plan on buying a vacation home in the area so this trip was a house hunting trip. The boatyard property was perfect for our needs. The yard is secure and well lit. The house was clean and decorated well for the beach area. We would highly recommend.

Home was clean and well equipped for our family mini vacation. Host and communicator was great. Very accommodating . We were able to go out on our boat to the gulf to enjoy scalloping to the north and sandbar to the south

Family Visit
Was extremely happy with the property, exceptionally clean and well appointed. Kitchen had everything that you could need, the neighborhood was very quiet and close to some wonderful restaurants.
Communication with the host was great, response was almost instantaneous which was VERY impressive.
I would highly recommend this property when visiting the Hudson area.

Booked for 35 days.
We got there the canal side lawn weeds were 18 inches high and remained high at 12 inches when leaving, We got a lawn cutting 4 days after arrival and one more cutting prior to leaving, oven and oven pans were just gross, toaster belonged in a landfill,, I personally cleaned the island countertop twice to remove the gummy/sticky top, also had to clean outside tables, we purchased dish towel and wash cloths. There was a major underground water leak issue with water entering kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, this was nobody's fault, just old piping failing beneath the floor slab. Needed to remove kitchen sink cabinet and chip out concrete floor. Host reimbursed us $400.00 for the inconvenience. We had previously paid in full for 2025 which we ended up by canceling.
Host did address the cleaning issues and immediately provided a new toaster. Host did notify us the lawn care was backed up however this is not my problem and should have been addressed prior to our arriving. Having to address these issues is unacceptable, thus a 3 star rating is the best I can do.

Excellent retreat on channel
We loved our month long stay here. Comfortable beds, fenced in backyard for our dog, cute kitchen, close to many great restaurants and grocery shopping. Laundry in 2nd bath was convenient! Nice neighborhood. We rate this house 10/10!

Wonder Stay in Hudson Florida ❤️
With starting my retirement we picked our stay in Hudson and couldn’t be HAPPIER!!! The house is just what you see in pictures. We loved it!!! My children and grandkids came to spend a few days also with us as we were there for a month. Kevin and his wife could not of been any nicer and answered any questions we had. High recommendations to anyone 💕 wanting to stay.

Very nice place to stay in Hudson Florida
We stayed at this 2 bed 2 bath home for a few nights to be near family that was visiting in the area. The back yard was awesome. We say so many birds and ducks in the canal. The patio included a gas grill, table and sofa as well as lounge chairs for sun bathing. The host was very responsive when I had a few questions. We would definately recommend this to anyone staying in Hudson.

This home was exactly as described. Great location, tastefully decorated, fresh, clean and had everything we needed for an extended weekend. The outdoor space is where we spent most of our time; the set up was perfect. We want to come back when we have more time to enjoy the amenities you have available. Cute little bungalow
This house is exactly as advertised. It's not a big house, but suited us very well. The fact that we were able to bring our 2 labs sealed it for us. It was our 1st trip to Hudson & we loved the area. Good restaurants, activities to do & plenty of birds & dolphins to watch.
