Stunning Gulf of Mexico Views @ Beachfront 3Br2Ba 9th Floor Blue Harbors Retreat

Step into our three-bedroom, two-bath beachfront Blue Harbors Retreat, our 9th-floor condo that sleeps 6 guests. You will be amazed by the stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico from the large private balcony, accessible from both the living area and master bedroom. While the listing photos are beautiful, they don't fully capture the unparalleled vistas available from this elevated 9th-floor unit.

The first bedroom features a bunk bed with a queen mattress below and a twin on top that can also be used as a cozy den for kids. The second bedroom sleeps 4 with two Queen beds. The spacious master bedroom offers a King bed with an en-suite bathroom and access to the balcony and the ocean views. All bed linens and towels, including beach towels, are provided. The kitchen opens to the dining area and living room overlooking the sea.

Blue Harbors Retreat's beachfront location allows you to enjoy the natural beauty of the coastline right from your doorstep. The condo also features a heated pool, hot tub, BBQ grills, beach volleyball, and a tropical green space.

Just steps away, you’ll find the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, Smuggler's Cove Adventure Golf, restaurants like Aloha-to-Go and Villa Gallace Italian, and popular spots such as JD's Lounge, Jake's Cantina, and more.

Our Blue Harbors Retreat is about 90 miles from Orlando attractions. It is 45 minutes from downtown Tampa attractions such as Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Lowry Park Zoo, and The Florida Aquarium. John's Pass is about a 15-minute drive south for shopping, and beautiful downtown St. Pete, just 17 miles away, offers many restaurants, bars, the Dali Museum, Chihuly Collection, and fantastic shopping!

Please note: Our building, Sandcastle I, is presently undergoing renovations, including the replacement of all balcony railings. While our unit’s railing has already been replaced, the work is still in progress across the building. We expect the renovations to be completed well before your stay, but there is a possibility it might not be finished exactly on time. We will keep any booked guests updated as their trip approaches to ensure that they are fully informed.

The property is beautiful, and the views of the Gulf from the balcony cannot be beat! Stunning is an understatement! Miguel and Dave, the local manager, were a pleasure to work with. They were both very responsive to any and all questions we had. The location of the condo is fabulous! It seems to be in a quieter, less busy area so the beach almost seemed private. The trolly stop is conveniently located in front of the complex, and is super easy to take anywhere we wanted to go along Gulf Blvd. We would absolutely stay in this unit again. Perfect location

The condo was in the perfect location and was very clean. The kitchen had all we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing we would have liked was ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

Beautiful view and clean

My family of 4 had a great time here. The view was just as expected with beautiful views of the ocean and a great place to watch the sunset. The place was clean, had plenty of beach chairs and sand toys to take down with you for the day. My daughter found lots of sand dollars and tons of neat shells. The pool was nice also. They have luggage racks and grocery carts to help load everything in one trip. The host answered all of my questions in a timely manner. If we return to this location we would definitely stay here again.

This was a great vacation and beautiful area to be at, right on the beach and great frontal views of the Gulf of America . Our apartment was very nice and equally clean, spent 10 days and had a great time, see you again!

Beautiful Sunsets

We enjoyed our stay. Condo manager went above and beyond to help me with a mailing. Beautiful sunsets every night. Everything was clean and stuff was stocked well. The whistling of the broken window is annoying but they are fixing that and the sliding doors soon.

This was our second year at Sandcastle1. We viewed lots of units last year and this year. What a gem we found with Blue Harbors Retreat!! Gorgeous condo with all the amenities our family of five needed. The host was great to work with and responded quickly to messages. The 9th floor offers amazing ocean views! We had a fabulous week!

Great views on the beach. Living room, kitchen and master decorated beautifully. Wouldn't stay here again due to a bunch of issues that need to be resolved. Windows in front of the unit by 2 bedrooms are in need of repair and have been for a few weeks. My husband had to work with property manager to apply a "bandaid" fix to the windows. Bag over front door knob so you wouldn't lock it when replacing the lock would have been more beneficial. Third smaller bedroom was unable to be used as it stayed hot the entire stay. No curtains on slider door in living room heated up the unit every afternoon as the sun went down up to 75 in the unit. A/C froze, as well as a/c being an issue all week. It ended up being a working vacation. We've opened an incident with VRBO due resolve issues with property management. We've used VRBO many times over the years and this is the first time we've had any issues of this magnitude.

Nice property. Great view. Beautiful kitchen, living room and bedrooms. Would stay here again. However, a bunch of little things that could be easily fixed in a week needs to be done. The windows by the front door are in really bad condition and cant be used. The owner did warn us about this. There was scotch tape covering the front door knob so you wouldn't lock it. Both bathrooms had newer vanities which were nice but the tiling around it was unfinished. The wall behind the master sink looked really cheap because it was finished and painted poorly. The living room lacks window coverings which can be blinding during early evening. Towels and toilet paper were what I would call substandard for this type of unit. Overlapping blank electrical covers by the balcony door Just a bunch of small easy to fix things would make this a fabulous 5 star unit. Hope to try it again

Windows and doors.

The unit itself was absolutely lovely as was the furnishings. However, the windows and sliders were horrible. The window in one of the bedrooms was actually broken and could have fallen out on the bed. The slider in the living room was hardly usable so we always had to go out through the master bedroom. The air conditioner was so loud that it would roar for about 30 to 40 seconds every time it came on. If you were sitting on the lanai, it was very loud and distracting. and I know they are in process of replacing windows and doors, but this should be done well before renting.

Great stay in perfect location - Upgraded unit - beautiful view

We stayed Thanksgiving week and were pleasantly surprised to receive a call that the unit had been remodeled (kitchen, bathrooms, furniture). Linens were updated with bed configuration the same. Updated couches. The checkin process was smooth. We enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect— walkable to restaurants in both directions. Loved the beach. Host and property manager were communicative and helpful ensuring we had everything. Overall happy with the choice and rental. Only note is the unit is not the most sound proof. Might be a plus to hear waves but also can hear other outside noises.
