« This was my first time using VRBO and I have to say I was really impressed with the accuracy of the listing and accountability of the host - she was communicative, positive and a pleasure to deal with. The lane home being very clean and welcoming, a bit on the older side but very cozy and warm (North Van can get cold at night) not to mention being able to have my dog there with me with zero fuss from the host. Just an all round terrific experience which I will definitely repeat if the need...

« Great quiet location for a girls getaway! The place had everything we needed especially the well stocked kitchen! It was a little cold for us due to the only heat source being the in floor heating even though we turned it up. We had an unfortunate power outage that lasted the whole night so it was extra cold! « Though we enjoyed our stay at the Timberloft there were many things that could have been done to make the stay more enjoyable. First and foremost is the issue of maintenance and cleanliness. We were aware of the steep steps to the property but they were overrun with vines making the journey up and down dangerous. I had to cut them myself so ensure that noone tripped. While the property is quite charming, there seemed to be very little thorough cleaning done as of late. The place was quite dusty...

« Well... we were very excited about our beachfront stay with the amazing views! Even spoke with the “owner” about swimming and paddle boarding out front! Little did we know, the pictures of the exterior were for the OTHER home and not the one we spent money on. We were scammed. As soon as we arrived we phoned panicking. We were told the cabin in the back was in fact what we had rented and if we had a problem to contact hotels.com!!!!! I was devastated, as we had a family weekend planned out...
