Enjoy a nice evening around the fire pit after enjoying a day in the sun on the water. Amazing view of the lake from the front room. Nice big dock - perfect for fishing or hanging out enjoying the sun. Family room located upstairs with 2 recliners and a nice big sectional - perfect for watching movies or playing board games.

This listing is for 6. There is a full bed (not a queen) a L shaped sofa and a hide a bed sofa. Maybe you could sleep 2 adults and 4 small children, but this is NOT a 6. There was no bedding. 2 blankets but no sheets…the place has SO much potential, it has a great location and it’s really cute, but it was not clean. I really hope the owners figure this out. Maybe they need a new cleaning crew.

Good Stay
Beautiful setting and so peaceful. I would suggest taking towels and wash clothes and something to help light fire outside. And extra bedding. We had fitted sheet only and a comforter on bed. Says there are extra blankets but there were not. Also no Amazon Fire stick so no TV. Also could not get DVD players to work. The owner did bring us toilet paper soon after we realized there was not any. I kind of got impression previous vacationers may have “misplaced” items and products. There is a Walmart in town so visited there several times. Overall had a relaxing time.

Brown recluse spiders
We rented this cabin with our children (3 and 11months old), I would say the cabin is not the most family friendly. The stairs inside are steep, the stair railing in the loft I'm not sure is to code. There were electrical outlets that were not completely installed. I was grabbing bedding from the loft closet and brown recluse spiders were everywhere!! The house was so dirty! There was pee on the toilet seat when we arrived. The silverware had food crusted to them. The sink still had food in the drain catcher. There was trash from previous guest on the floor in the loft. Soooo many spider webs inside the house. Like others have said the driveway is crazy steep thank goodness we had four-wheel drive. The communication with the owners was minimal. I had emailed twice prior to the trip with no response. I called twice and left voicemails and finally got a text reply. After all of this we couldn't even stay three hours into our vacation and drove home. To say the least it was a horrible experience.

Vacation
Huge spiders in the bathtub, so hot upstairs in the bedroom, we had to sleep downstairs on the couch. They want you to take out the garbage, but they don’t supply garbage bags. It is a fishin Cabin, and there was not even a knife to cut up a fish. And we had to go to Walmart to buy a pan because they had no way to cook any breakfast. We left two days early and we still can’t get paid back.

Didn't live up to potential
We were really looking forward to our stay based on the description of the property. However, there were several misses: the property is not private, there are other houses all along the shoreline, the bed is not a queen (we measured), the AC is a window unit above the bed and blows across ones legs and it is LOUD, the cleaning was marginal and lastly, while spiders outside are to be expected, large spiders and webbing inside are not. Four-wheel drive is recommended since the driveway is steep gravel. There were upsides.The patio with the sunken fire pit was very nice, decorative concrete and the dock provided easy lake access. Sunsets were gorgeous. The neighbors were respectful with quiet hours observed. The property has a lot of potential but needs more TLC to make it a better user experience considering the daily rate.

Perfect for a summer getaway
We had a fabulous time in this cabin! We have been planning a weekend trip for my friend’s birthday in a cabin, on a lake, and this was absolutely perfect. My boyfriend and I kept saying we cannot wait to come back! The view was absolutely stunning. I think the fire pit was the best feature. Only a couple negatives - i wish we had a warning about the steep drive way! And the bathroom was out of hand soap so we had to run to the store. Thank you again for sharing your space with us!
