Driftwood Cottage treats guests to wonderful amenities, a great location across the street from the beach, and all the comforts of a home away from home. The moment you step inside this home, you'll be greeted by the inviting living area, the perfect place to hang out with your loved ones, watch TV on the large flatscreen TV, and simply relax. The living room features a comfortable sectional sofa, a flatscreen TV with streaming services (Netflix and HBO), and a handful of entertaining board games.

The kitchen has been equipped with all the basic cookware and appliances that will make cooking a breeze. It also boasts a Keurig coffee maker, a washer/dryer combo, and a dining table that seats four. The kids can enjoy their meals at the small table in the living room, which seats two. However, if you'd like to make your meals special, you can head outside and use the picnic table! It's perfect for meals al fresco. And if you're inspired enough, this cabin also features a gas grill, so don't hesitate to become the grilling star of the group and treat everyone to grilled patties, veggies, and steak.

This gem of a retreat is across the street from the dunes, beach, and bay—terrific for both people and dogs! Treat yourself and the group to a tasty meal at Gill's By the Bay, a family-owned restaurant where you can watch the wildlife and boats from the observation deck, stroll through the garden, enjoy the sun and the flowers, and delight yourself with homemade food. When you visit Eureka, you must stop by the jewel of the city: the Carson Mansion. Built in the 1880’s by gold-rush hopeful turned redwood-lumber magnate William Carson, the stunning Carson Mansion is an architectural wonder of the Victorian era. Avid golfers can stop by the Eureka Municipal Golf Course, three and a half miles.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Security camera details: There are active cameras on site. Cameras are located in the carport, front door, back door, and on the north-facing side of the house where the shed is. They will be turned off during your stay.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
