« Compter quand même environ 50 minutes par les transports en commun pour arriver au centre de Londres. Le cadre est plutôt agréable, naturel et calme,en profitant des marées de la Tamise ( et oui !) et des oiseaux, canards , aigrettes aux marches du Seacrest. Belle expérience ! Notre hôte, Mark, n'est pas avare d'explications. Petite precision pour vivre à bord : ne pas être très grand ni gros ni....handicapé , l'escalier pour accéder aux chambres et sanitaires est étroit et bas ( attention aux...

« L'emplacement est top et la communication avec l'hôte est facile. Cependant il n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce que la péniche est amarrée avec une autre péniche, les fenêtres donnent sur l'intérieur de l'autre péniche. Il n'y a de l'eau chaude que pour deux petites douches. Le supplément payé pour une 5ème personne est très élevé compte tenu du fait qu'il ne pourra pas se doucher. L'électricité ne fonctionne pas bien et toutes les nuits nous avons été réveillés par les BIP du générateur que...

« This is hands down my favorite VRBO I’ve ever rented. I could live full time in this boat. It’s in the perfect location. The marina is very nice and very safe. Tons of dining choices, close to a couple of grocery stores. You can literally see the tower bridge from the marina. It’s across the road from the Tower of London. The boat itself is very nice. It’s clean. It’s well appointed. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with. I hope to stay there again. Highly recommended! »

« A perfect respite after a busy day. The houseboat exceeded expectations from a comfortable bed and large bath in quiet harbor with peaceful river view. Everything from communications and check in was seamless and easy. Pam was great in meeting us and making sure we would have a great stay for our anniversary. Traveling into the city using the DLR and Tubes was quick and easy. We loved sitting on the bow with a wine or beer and people/dog/duck watching at the end of the day. »

« We stayed here for a special occasion and it didn't disappoint. The boat is very well positioned, with great access to a cafe and restuarant, and easily located. « What a lovely “out of the box” experience for us Canadians. Slowly rocked to sleep under such a cozy comforter. Every neighbour we met with so friendly in the area. Lovely pub nearby. Highly recommend this boat and the experience with the owners. Thank you so much and we will back »

« Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about! »

Séjour merveilleux à Londres

"Nous avons beaucoup aimé cet établissement, très propre, vraiment bien situé dans Londres ce qui permet de visiter à pied. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très agréable et très serviable, il y règne une ambiance agréable tout en étant sérieuse. Les chambres disposent même d'un fer à repasser ce qui peut être très utile. Bravo, nous reviendrons sans hésiter. "
