« This was a comfortable place- not close to downtown at all and not in the best part of town from what we experienced. But we’re fine. And don’t suggest anyone staying alone- felt safer with a male guest we had. Bring your pillows. The beds had the latest pillows and I had to go buy my own to have a decent nights sleep. « We were very pleased with the location, customer service and accommodations at Rivercation. For our large group, everyone had a bedroom with their own bathroom. We were all impressed with the house and all it had to offer. Situated on the river was wonderful- relaxing to sit and listen to the water and a convenient spot to fish. It is about a 30 minute walk to the Gatlinburg Convention center (about 1 1/2 miles). Blake was responsive and helpful with messages. We would definitely stay here...

« Great place for a family weekend trip. We enjoyed our stay. The house is an old house, but they have done a great job of updating it. It was clean and comfortable. The back deck had a lot of tree debris and the hot tub was a little green so we didn’t get in it, but we enjoyed the house and fire pit. Also, it is too far up a steep mountain/hill to walk to town and the park, but it’s within 5 miles from everything you need or want. »

We went during a colder time , but there were plenty of heat sources to use in the dome, so we had the view and feel of being outside with the comfort of being warm.
