« Secluded Georgian house surrounded by trees with ample parking. Usually a rental apartment's size is exaggerated by the photos; this one definitely was not. Each room was spacious, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Beds super comfortable and bathrooms immaculate. Easy walking distance to the town centre along the river. Would be my first choice to stay in Durham again. »

« We used the apartment as a base to spend a day at Beamish. Overall the apartment was good, there were just a couple of niggles which need sorting otherwise everything was ok. You need a car if you are staying here as the area is very hilly although there is a bus route close by. Iff we were to come back to this area then I wouldn't have a problem staying here again. « The communication was prompt. Our biggest issue was finding the property late in the night as Google Maps takes you to the opposite house! You definitely need to add a note to the property listing. The house is as shown in photos, newly refurbished, clean and nice. The kitchen and bathroom at the back of the office needs to be brought up to the standard of the rest of the house. These rooms lack both furnishings and facilities and feel like a different house altogether! We didn't cook so can't...

« The directions and the greeting at the apartment by James were exceptional. The location was convenient to the shops and places of interest (the cathedral) and the view from the terrace across the river simply wonderful.
