« Had the most amazing stay at Holly Tree Lodges. Perfect location as only a 10 minute drive to York city centre whilst also being super quiet and peaceful - the best of both worlds. Very clean, comes with all the necessities, hot tub worked perfectly and a sauna being a fabulously unique addition. « Holly tree lodge ,was perfect for a peaceful relaxing break ,the lodge was very clean and had everything you would need for self catering,The hot tub was lovely,the site was peaceful and well maintained. »

« The hot tub was huge, bed was comfy, shower was powerful. Could do with a bigger tv and the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes but other than that we couldn’t fault it »

« These lodges are always very clean, unfortunately this visit was spoiled by the smell of dog, especially on the sofa. I know it is a pet lodge, but I have stayed in several of the pet lodges, even though I don't have a pet myself, and never had the smell of dog before.We also had a small invasion of ants in the bathroom, which we managed to control with some ant spray that was provided. »

« Great lodge, nice veranda to sit out on an evening so peaceful and quiet. Lodge was very modern with all the usual facilities, the only thing we didn’t like was the buffets for eating were very uncomfortable and although there were plenty of drawers and cupboards in the kitchen they were mostly full with stuff, there was the usual ones for plates, mugs dishes etc so there was no room for our things, biscuits, bread tins etc. »

« Lodge itself was lovely, as was the hot tub and the scenery. Excellent value for money. Modern and spacious and the decking area was secure for our dog. Although it may seem minor, the lodge could benefit from some more hooks e.g., on the doors as it was very difficult to get towels/swimwear dry after using the hot tub as there is limited space to put wet items.Aside from this, the only other issues were noise and insects (not issues that are the fault of the site or the lodge itself).
