« We came to Suffolk to do some family tree research and Orford was a great place to stay. Although there wasn't dedicated parking, there was always plenty of space in the market square. The village itself is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of places to walk and explore. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and well equipped. »

« Lovely peaceful setting in rural Suffolk, with walks on mown path around edge of property. Handy enough to reach Sutton Hoo and Minsmere by car. The only negative was that the shower temperature controls were difficult to master - some instructions would be useful. »

« Beautiful house, great location and exceptionally clean and very well equipped. All the rooms were really comfortable and spacious. The only slight problem was setting the temperature of the shower over the bath, it was quite difficult to get it to run at a moderate heat, either too hot or not hot enough. « Unkept garden ( not usable), no dustbin, next door to noisy / very smelly fish and chip shop, very narrow and very steep stairs. Property was ver clean, manager was excellent. »

« The property is in an excellent position, close to shops, restaurants and the beach, there was parking outside. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. The courtyard garden was unloved and the patio furniture was dirty. The flowerpots outside the front door were full of weeds,...

« Thoroughly enjoyable week. Ideal for a large group with children. Lots of amenities, books, toys and games. Everyone enjoyed the tennis court and the children the hot tub. We were celebrating a birthday holiday so had a couple of meals out in Woodbridge, the BBQ for 18 of us worked really well, with us all gathering around the long table in the Dairy Hall. One family with 8 month old son were ideally catered for in the Granary. Plenty of walks around the local fields with open spaces for walking...

« Nice old house in a great location…just needed some extra care to make it just right….no shampoo? One little bar of soap for each bathroom..and I mean little!No napkins, paper towels…basic items could go a long way here. »

« Lovely house in a lovely location but we had a few issues. The property details said there was a barbecue which had planned to use. There was no barbecue! Instead we had to use the ovens in the kitchen. Both ovens were very dirty one of them filled the kitchen with acrid smoke as soon as we turned it on . It was such a shame because the standards of cleanliness elsewhere in the property were very high. With a barbecue and a clean oven this would have been a pretty much perfect house. »

« Lovely location and very spacious, let down by cleanliness and lack of basic maintenence. Broken bathroom/toilet door bolts, weeds growing through patio together with loose paving slabs sticking up causing a potential trip hazard. Place was full of cobwebs and spiders and overall quite dirty. Kitchen was dark due to a few lights not working. The stable doors couldnt be half opened due to lower bolts not lining up. Very basic jobs that wouldn't cost much to do but would leave a much better...
