« We loved the house, clean, spacious and well equipped. Also loved the location, Helmsley is a lovely town and there are many attractions nearby. »

« Super property with all we needed. Comfortable and clean. Domestic essentials were provided, mot the case in many properties, but tea coffee and milk as well as washing up and dish washer kit. One of the prettiest villages in NYNNP with a pub, tea rooms and a great rural museum »

We loved the house, its rambling corridors, comfortable bedrooms and elegant and fascinating objects and furniture. Perfect for a country house weekend. »

« The cottage was well set up with lots of internal space for our trip. The bedrooms we large and along with the bathrooms they made out stay so much nicer. It was a shame the log burner sting was broken and therefore did not really work, on Host and Stay website it also said we had a washer - yet there was not. Would I stay again? No - as there was no WiFi (which for me is essential), no washing machine, a little care and attention on their log burner would make so much difference. »

It may be that we didn’t read the listing carefully enough, but it came as a bit of a surprise that the cottage is a ground floor apartment with an occupied flat above.
