« the overall property was well laid out and wanted for nothing certainly kitchen wise. would have benefited from an extra toilet either up the stairs or down the stairs. There was one outside in the back yard but none of us ventured out to use that one. The surrounding area was great for the dogs. Miles of golden sands. a few don't allow dogs but these tend to be in the towns, so watch out for those. Overall a great stay. »

« We had a lovely stay. The 'cottage' was well equipped and ideal for the two of us. The house was spotless and very easy to keep clean & tidy. Though a little further from Durham city than we expected, the buses ran regularly from the main road a short walk away. As it was near the top of the hill, walking back from Durham would have been very hard! We had left the car at home, but found the buses to be excellent - on time and going to all the places we wanted to visit. Thank you. »

« We enjoyed our stay very much. The decor and furnishings are very good and the outlook very relaxing. The only negative was the bins, being told we would be fined 100 if we put the wrong rubbish in the wrong bins made me a bit paranoid. It would be helpful to have some physical information to hand rather than the email we received as different areas of the country recycle differently. « Lovely stay in Amble at Jo’s property. The house was fab much bigger than it looks and great distance to lovely walks along the shore and round harbour and marina .Easy parking at house . Lots of nice places to eat nearby too. A great base to see more of the area too. We all had a great time. Would highly recommend »
