« A fantastic stay! A lovely cottage with everything you need, set in a lovely location. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with nearly everything you need for self-catering, just missing a pizza cutter. A dishwasher and washer/dryer are also provided.
The swimming pool is an amazing asset to the property, it is not attached to the cottage so you do need to go outside but only about 20 feet. There is a shower and toilet in the pool house.
Overall, this is...

« I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay. »

« It was faultless. Warm and clean and everything you need for a stay as close as you can get to Alton Towers. Space to park and leave your car. 2-3 minutes walk to the turnstiles at Alton towers. Highly recommend the place. »

« We enjoyed a short break here, for us it was perfectly situated near the park to walk the dogs. We couldn’t believe how many pots, pans etc there were, plenty to cook a decent meal with. The lodge is really well presented and very comfortable. The beds for some were comfy for others too soft. We would love to return in warmer weather and enjoy the outside space. »

« Quiet location, shower needs to be renovated, fridge door should open on the opposite side, easy to hit your head on a useless wall shelf. »
