« We loved staying in Charlie’s property. It was very clean and well maintained and was a gem. Parking was tricky round the back but plenty of on street parking was available. A few trips down the hill into town certainly built the glutes on the return up the hill! Highly recommend Stones restaurant and Sourdough Dave’s bakery for bread in the morning. Matlock is a lovely town and well positioned for walking (Dovedale, Edale, etc all within 30mins) or visiting Bakewell or Chatsworth House.Perfect...

« We loved our stay in Wirksworth. Such a lovely area for walking and cycling which we were after. The cottage was lovely. Very comfy beds, great sofa and fab log burner. Kitchen has everything you need. The shower is definitely small as the listing says. However i dont thjnk i realised how small - we managed (just) but this is the only negative in an other wise lovely stay. The village is also great, again with everything you need in terms of variety of places to eat and drink. »

« If I had to find a criticism it would be for the glass door in bathroom in ground floor bedroom!! Nobody needs a glass door to the shower and toilet!! »

« Excellent communication with the owner on everything we asked. We had beautiful weather during our stay and made use of all the facilities. The only thing I was told about was that the bedrooms could do with blackout blinds. Other than that would highly recommend the property to anyone »
