« This is a beautifully put together house and it was immaculately clean throughout. Check-in was no problem and the location was great. If you are not a good walker, you might struggle with the trudge up the steep hill from Matlock to the house: we decided it meant the cheese and wine was well earned!! « We really enjoyed our stay at the Hopton House barn. This is one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. The house was modern, decorated very tastefully and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay in the Peak District. It was a perfect home base for touring the area and ta couple of walks during our six day visit.
