« Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. »

« We had a wonderful stay at the Pilsley Inn. The breakfast was excellent, with high-quality food and a great variety to start the day. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and the setting is both charming and ideally located for visiting Chatsworth House. Staying on the estate provided added benefits for access to Chatsworth, which enhanced the overall experience. What truly stood out, however, was the staff, especially Emma. They were exceptionally helpful, attentive, and always willing...

« Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out. »
