« Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal. Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended. »

« Really beautiful property with a character. Parking available in front of property. Super clean and room was good size. No tea making in room but David is happy to provide at any time. Breakfast was freshly made and was delicious. Especially liked home made marmalade. Walking distance to a pub and an Indian restaurant. Walking trails nearby. Many Peak District attraction within easy driving distance . Overall a nice stay with super nice hosts. I would stay again. »

« The stay at Sheriff Lodge,Matlock was absolutely excellent.Ziz the Propietor goes above and beyond in every aspect.My Partner and I stayed 20th April- 22nd April,the latter being my Birthday. Ziz popped a Birthday Card on the Breakfast Table discreetly with amazing food on offer and excellently cooked wvery time.Her local knowledge was also above and beyond juxtapose her Hospitality and attentiin to all details. »

Jolie petite salle de bain privée. seul défaut, la route pour monter est assez étroite. Heureusement qu'il y en a deux.(nous pouvons donc choisir laquelle nous voulons) »

« We booked our stay back in September. On 13th October we travelled 200 miles from Scotland, arriving at 8pm, to find it closed. It transpired that the hotel had gone out of business on 5th October. No one had thought to inform us, and cancel our booking! I spent an hour on the phone speaking to various people in America, employed by Hotels.com, assuming they would be able to help, perhaps by arranging alternative accommodation. Instead they each wasted time by going through the same pointless...
