« We have just returned from a week’s stay at Hazelhurst lodges with our two small children (2 and 4years). We couldn’t have had a better week! We stayed in the Foxglove lodge and it was immaculate. Absolutely everything was provided that we needed - welcome pack (cereals, chocs, prosecco, jams, cereals), robes, slippers, washing items, toiletries, bread and milk. We were greeted just after arrival by our friendly hosts and any questions we had were answered. hot tub was maintained throughout...

« Lodge was clean on the surface but had layers of dust on the towel rails abd under furniture. Sharp knives in the kitchen were blunt and no kitchen scissors. Not enough place settings, had to run the dishwasher after every meal. Having said that, overall standard was good and we enjoyed our stay, particularly the hot tub! »

« Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. Basic utensils, no wine glasses but did have a gravy boat 😁 comfortable beds, met by the pleasant host, all in all fine »

« Location is very well hidden and shut off from the public. Perfect views from the living room. Very spacious and local supermarkets is approx 10mins drive »

« Can’t rate this place highly enough! From the beautiful location to the welcome package to the fabulous host Graham! The lodge was packed with all the essentials you would need…..a home away from home 🥰 We arrived home on Friday and we’ve already booked for next year 🤩 thank you for a fantastic week away!!! »

« Beautiful complex and really dog friendly. The lodge was clean and cosy and was next to a lake which was a real bonus. Definitely returning in 2025 »

« Oak lodge is a large 3 bedroom lodge . The lodge is well equipped and the washing machine was very useful. Weather was fantastic whilst we were there so spent almost all our time outside on the garden furniture. I can see if the lode was fully occupied, the inside seating is insufficient. As other reviews state it needs a further sofa adding but this did not affect us . The staff were wonderful and check in and out was very easy .i would definitely return to these lodges . »

« Very modern in decor. Some of the furniture is a bit light. Everything there to clean with as I had one half of my family stay for a few days and then the other half came so I washed bedding and towels and cleaned. »
